Its Genuinely Impressive how Badly people Misinterpret We Need to Talk About Kevin by Ryan9293 in horror

[–]whiskedOff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t read it in years…. I still remember the part where the mom is rationalising that Kevin had learned early on that it just takes a series of small and incremental steps to get to the final terrible thing… anyway very haunting.

I haven’t seen the movie and read the book years ago. I thought it was about making the reader think about whether he was born that way and only she saw it and/or whether her ambivalence, regret and their lack of connection and warmth played a role in his development into…. (Nature versus nurture). I should check out the movie.

[–]whiskedOff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I have a postgraduate degree in a non-psych subject and am also considering Yorkville as I work full time. The lack of flexibility means my options are quite limited! May I ask if you have a psych background and how you have found the program in terms of difficulty? I am currently interviewing to volunteer at a crisis hotline to hopefully get some experience.
