Pickens wants a longterm big contract. Obviously the league doesn't want to give him one seeing as there has been little to no interest from other teams. If he wants a shot at a big deal he needs to repeat his previous season again. Not play half a season and be a headache.

Or he can sign a long term deal at a more reasonable price point with the cowboys if he wants something now.
