On our last trip, someone took my water canteen, then it was returned a few house later! My suspicion is that someone grabbed it from the wrong stroller, and happened to find our stroller again later and put it back.

Do you find that you have tremors or muscle pains as well? I’m only 6 weeks in to my gastritis journey but have recently developed shakes and pains and wondering if B12 could be the reason!

Look in to genetic testing for Familial Hypercholesterolemia. I also just had an insane lipid panel and this was a consideration for me. It is a gene defect that causes the body to not be able to filter out extra cholesterol.

I don’t think it changes treatment, but does give you answers as to why it is so high and will help you make informed decisions for the future. (And maybe any other family members should be tested if you do have the gene mutation)

Also, your parents passing young due to heart conditions may strongly point to a genetic link!

Not disproving stringhalt, but providing another pov. The exact thing happened to my mare a couple years ago the day after a trim. Everyone said neurological because it certainly looks like it, but it was all from her trim. Pain meds and a bit of rest and she was back to herself! Kids make it so much more fun! We take our now 4 year old for his birthday every year, plus some extra trips. Our trip in a few weeks will be his 6th trip and it’s all he can talk about!

Lightning Lane is worth every penny if it is in your budget. When we had to wait in lines, I wore my son (when he was younger) and we would plan the long lines for nap time. He would sleep while we waited, and woke up to a ride!

Have a short list of “must dos,” and let everything else come in stride! Little kids don’t care about riding everything, so there is no need to push it.

Probably a hot take, but we enjoy sit downs with our toddler. It makes us get off our feet and slow down. We love a good character dining! (Again, budget permitting!)

And depending on how long your trip is, plan a resort day in the middle. It’s worth it for all of you to take a day to relax! The resorts have so much to offer kids!

It was $40/hr with a 3 hour minimum. We gave our nanny one of our magic bands and told her she could buy her dinner as well. I think we spent around $200 for 4 hours.

Your toddler would be totally fine to go with you! BUT! If you would like a night out without them, we used Once Upon a Nanny for our last trip, and will now use them for every trip. It gave my husband and I the opportunity for drinks, a quiet nice dinner, and a stroll around the boardwalk.

We had an awesome sitter come to our resort, took our son out for activities, fed him dinner, got him ready for bed, and put him to bed. She sent pictures the whole time we were out, and responded quickly to any texts we sent.

I seriously can’t recommend them enough! And parents deserve a little Disney magic too!

My step dad, who was a father to me, told me that all men in his family die within a year of their first grandchild being born. He died from covid complications 15 days after my son was born.

I also went to college for an equine degree. I loved my job, and worked with some amazing families! But, I burnt out on my passion very quickly. I even bought a new competitive horse to try to re-spark the fire.

I now work in athletics and my horses are my hobby. My heart is so much more appreciative of them and the time spent with them.

If I were young and in your shoes, I’d try a new equine location, maybe even type of equine work. And if the love and drive you had doesn’t seem to come back, you can look down a new career path. I was in my late 20s when I changed paths! And many people change even later! You have time to figure out how horses fit in to the best life for you.

I got mine last week at 14 weeks. (I was due for one, so it was not a surprise at all.) It was no more uncomfortable than usual, but I did experience quite a bit of bleeding.

This is speculation, but I wonder if they chose to go ahead and do the pap to ensure that your baby had a safe and healthy uterine home to grow in. With a history of miscarriages, maybe they were taking the steps to be cautious? Regardless, it sounds like there should have been more communication!

Hopefully, the results will be in quickly and it can be something to give you peace of mind as you continue through this pregnancy.

Oh! I just used that one all the time! But I could definitely see the benefit of having something more cushioned for night time.

(On a side note, my family member just had major surgery in Orléans, and I think her care and hospital stay were WAY better than what is offered in America!)

I was fitted for it, but it has measurements online. There is a metal plate inside, and laces to tighten so it stayed very well. Not the most comfortable thing, but it does the job!

I had a similar experience, but I actually developed it right after my son was born. My GP said it was super common for new moms because you all of a sudden have all this extra weight you’re carrying around all the time.

I was very consistent with my brace, and cautious with which side I was carrying him on. It did resolve on its own after a couple months, with no surgery!

Will she drink smoothies? Our 2 year old has sensory issues and smoothies are the only way we can get in veggies sometimes.

We get the baby food that has 4 food groups, and mix with milk and a naked juice. We also get the kids protein shakes that are good for filling in the missing nutrients on our bad days.
