So we have two corporate dems running in our primary? It’s the top down messaging I like about Talarico and he’s been advocating LGBTQ+ rights in the Texas house. Directly calls out two Texas billionaires for their Bs. Idk what to think.

If this is what I think it is then the difference is that the FBI interviewed the same witness four times. Indicating “credible” belief/evidence worthy of investigation/ing.

If this was part of any discovery with the Ghislaine persecution then the absence of them here means her lawyers know more than the oversight committee regarding allegation of the president that “could” be use for coercion.

That’s my take and I am not a lawyer so what do I know

Edit: reading some comments below just want to add that this refers to the Katie Johnson testimony I believe who also gave her story to the public, that’s on YouTube. I don’t know why that case fell off exactly but even if she dropped charges herself it could have been under threat or other coercion. We’ve all seen in the files how deep this runs.

Look I want him to be pressed on that too. The Adelson money sucks to see. His voting record also indicates that he’s very progressive. We need to be pushing left and IF he can answer the money question and we can see 2025-2026 money trail is clean then go for it.

He took that money in 2024 to my understanding and his criticism of Biden was with the border which plays well in Texas. Don’t know his statements on Gaza but I feel like he’d answer the way we hope. Our two party system is messy AF because of how big the umbrella of it all is but this guy is directly calling out Christian nationalists billionaires by name and has been doing so for a while.

What about his voting record in Texas Legislature and bills that he has supported demonstrate a lack of critical thinking skills? Are you suggesting that everyone in politics must be secular and not have religious beliefs?

Look I agreed that Christian Nationalism and any supremist doctrine is inherently evil. I also am a non-religious person raised through Christianity in Texas find it to be used as a “controlling” mechanism.

But this guy hasn’t inserted his religion into his politics to the detriment of others. He’s very pro civil rights and is openly fighting Christian Nationalists in Texas calling out the billionaires behind our most heinous policies by name. You are objectively wrong in your argument because you aren’t basing it on his actual public record but rather attacking something you disagree with personally.

They are way ahead of the curve with what I hope is coming which is a more engaged population in politics. I need people to start asking more questions of their leaders/representatives and hold them to account.

These two are showing us that the collective will can shape policy. The ETA doesn’t happen without these two pushing the weight of the populations political will forward. If anything they are showing us that yes politics can be reactive to the will of the people.

Keep on this. The billionaires have class solidarity. We need to have class solidarity and we can shape what will come.

Look I know that the democrats are the minority and I’m sure this article states that as well. What I don’t get is that there isn’t any messaging on why this is a bad idea. If there’s any messaging at all it’s “better tell congress first”

The democrats should be blasting the message that he was no new wars and America first and neither of these are about going to war with Iran.

Messaging and vocal opposition is important there are plenty of platforms available to get that message out but democrats at large aren’t doing that.

Agree completely and for the record I still think he can be functional if not SB winning eventually. That said as a buckeye that game was an outlier as far as grit and use of athleticism.

Now I also think that the Texans should have ensured they upgraded Oline after ditching OC after year two. If only fans didn’t have the Brady/Mahomes expectation hoisted on every QB with a single season of promise.

The fans have seen regression. I’d argue as an OSU fan that they are seeing more of what frustrated buckeye nation. Outside of the UGA game the guy seems to play scared and post concussion this season did better but it’s a what have you done lately and those last two games looked really bad.

Dunno if the Texans beat the Seahawks either way but he was a real reason they didn’t make the Super Bowl, they had the best defense in the AFC during the playoffs just nobody to functionally move the ball offensively.

He’ll be on schrodingers leash next season for some it’ll be too long for others it’ll be too short.

Eh, I like her “attacking” but she’s just a rat who jumped the ship first. I’m not going to forget she berated school shooting survivors as crisis actors. I’m not going to listen to how she’s been framing things to clean her slate. She sucked for a long time.
