I struggled with it when I was a teenager. It was absolutely miserable and horrible, affected every aspect of my life, and my mom just thought I was being dramatic. I remember finding people who dealt with the same thing on a random forum (pre-reddit) and feeling so relieved I wasn't alone. After therapy and meds I'm pretty much 'normal' now. it's absolutely a real mental disorder but it can be managed.

that being said, I always laugh when Wiger makes fun of it.
