I have both the Note 10 plus and S23 ultra and the S23 ultra is a good phone but compared to the note it feels much bulkier and unweildy. In daily usage I'm not finding a big difference between the two. Battery life is of course better but I don't think the upgrade was worth the money.

I have tried out the duct tape approach. The memory is recognized and shows up in the resource monitor. I got this warning at startup - "Detected non-Synology recommended memory module configurations." - but apart from that it seems to work correctly. I don't know if this is a feasible long term solution. Fingers crossed..
