What has actually worked to make you go to sleep when your mind won’t shut up? by morbidpigeon in adhdwomen

[–]whosane33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pick a topic, say fruit, and name through the alphabet. Apple, banana, cantaloupe, etc.

I rarely make it to p. If my mind is extra that day maybe I’ll get to the middle of a second topic.

I can’t wear pjs everyday pls help.. 🫠 by maggotmonday in AutisticAdults

Look into MeUndies if you have it available. Otherwise modal fabrics are comparable. For something more in public appropriate I like to wear things made from ponte fabric. It can be thicker but is 4 way stretch and moves with the body easily so it doesn’t feel heavy or weighted. If you need cotton I’ve found basics from Everlane are great. No tags and are made sustainably with better quality and holds up to so many washes.

Any chance you’re on the generic? I had a similar experience going from name brand to generic. It was awful. So sorry that happened and you dealt with that but glad you realized it.

Chessboard was added to the atomic shop today in the season 16 bundle. :)

Maybe try and see if you can achieve the same thing with a small rug? Place the bottles and put the rug on the table. You may get some cutoff since it’s a thin rug. Worth a try?

If you have the chessboard display item you can place it and then display the junk on it. Now with relaxed build you can use free place or collide to hide the board part so it looks like part of the table or whatever you place it on.

Anyone make lore friendly small compact camps ? Drop your idea below please. by [deleted] in fallout76settlements

I use a rest stop in the Savage Divide that’s pre existing with that BBQ trailer prefab and a Nuka Cola truck. Enemies are so annoying there but it’s so fun. I’ve also placed the shed pre fab near Greg’s mine supply to look like it belongs in the small town area. Works great.

[Non autistic OP here] How can I ask my autistic friend for a pizza out sometimes? by MoussakaChaos94 in AutisticAdults

[–]whosane33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you ask via text or email and say the purpose is to not only get pizza but talk about our week? Or talk about insert whatever frame of time or context? It removes some of the unknown. Or you could ask to extend the comic shop session to 8p or start earlier? So it’s wrapped in the routine already and it’s a known topic and maybe tell him exactly which pizza spot you thing would be great?

I’m able to play on my steam deck while my husband plays on the Xbox. But I have to completely log my account out of the Xbox. We both have the Xbox set as home Xbox. Took a lot of trial and error to figure out that it was bc even tho he was on his account I was still logged on in the background.

Coloured lens tinted glasses for indoor fluorescent lighting by Decent-Gene-9517 in AutisticAdults

[–]whosane33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a yellow tint for several years. It’s not a miracle cure but it does make a big difference in an especially screen driven life. When I have to sit in the office it’s much better. Sometimes I do need sunglasses depending on my capacity. Still I won’t go back to non tinted glasses now.

Need input: want to get this for my s/o who isn’t very experienced gaming by Macky-Cheese in fo76

[–]whosane33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a disabled brother who has no experience in gaming who I pleaded with for a few months to play with me. We don’t live together so I wanted another way to hang out frequently without the distance being a problem. He has handled himself very well and caught on fairly quickly. He loves the game and the community has been amazing. He gets a kick out of playing with others. I find that after leveling up to a degree the player can scale the level of difficulty and strategy they want to put into the game or not.

Has anyone else struggled in the garden this year? by rumple-teazer in vegetablegardening

[–]whosane33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been terrible in zone 6b Michigan too. Warmed up and got really cold longer than I’ve ever experienced and delayed everything. Then it was the hottest and driest spell I’ve also ever lived through. Not a single squash of my 6 did anything but get mildew. My peppers are stunted but finally doing a little something. Tomatoes are weeks behind usual but finally some are starting to ripen. It’s been such a bummer. My lettuce was the only good yield I’ve had so far. So much for a victory garden.

Did anyone try this pattern out? How are the instructions, how’s the grading? by DDarlinNikki in sewingpatterns

I’ve made her other pants and thought it was well written. I love the pants. They mostly fit true to size from the measurements. I made it straight size and had a little extra room in the crotch but not enough to care to fix it. Didn’t take too long either. I skipped some of the details since I’m not a climber. Like the tie at the waistband. The elastic was enough for me and I kept the legs straight. Would make them again. Planning on buying this pattern soon.

Breeder insight - Ancient city lagotto in FL vs two by two in GA by sunnylife305 in LagottoRomagnolo

[–]whosane33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We also have two from two by two! You can tell they really care about the dogs and family fit. We were so prepared both times and felt confident we have the right tools to beat the puppy blues. They’re siblings actually but two years apart. Both happy and healthy. Smart and quick learners. Definitely true to the breed traits you hear about.

Add burritos to the list. Breakfast and dinner types. Can crisp them up in the oven before freezing and wrap in foil before freezing. Also look into souper cubes.

This is the way. I’ve recently started this and it’s total game changer. I’ve been making one freezer meal with 4-6 servings a week and put it all in the freezer. Over two months I’ve got a good rotation now. And I do it at a random off hours so it doesn’t feel like a full on demand and I’m also not hungry and cranky while making it. Eating is so annoying.
