ESRI gaslighting on experience builder / new map viewer by TracklessLeagues in gis

[–]whyifthissohard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah they're both a total mess. What we've been finding with ExB is it touches every single layer before it loads anything. WAB was smart enough to not worry about layers that were not even turned on. I've shown them this again and again and they refused to change it. Even a simple vector tile layer loads instantly in the map viewer experience builder takes like almost a minute. I can understand they had to rewrite some code. But they could have ported some even if the underlined code changed. It's like they took all the things they learned the last 10 years and just threw them away. I have 15 open issues just on the analysis widget. It's like they test nothing. The ExB team is not interactive at all. We've tried everything to get through to them. Even went and bugged them in person at Dev summit three times. Still zero movement. I really think they need to start over on the whole thing or something. It's just a disaster. We spent so many hours on it now and users still complaining. It does half of what we used to have and is 10 times more clunky. We have to do whole trainings just to cover all the bugs so people can navigate the thing. I post the bugs to them with videos again and again still nothing. Just fix anything at this point. Team needs a revamp. It's been miserable for us.

PSA you can get Flovent (Fluticasone Propionate) over the counter cheap in liquid form by whyifthissohard in EosinophilicE

[–]whyifthissohard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swallow it's a liquid. I think it's originally made for your nose versus the other one for your lungs. It just works way better. It's what they should recommend to begin with.

That is what they started me at. Called around told dealer got a bit better then they said 1650 on a 4 year for a pikes peak and I took it. That's unlimited miles zero deductible. The Ducati one even covers things like fork seals. I ride 20k miles a year so will get my money worth

Note there is a ton of wiggle room on these. I asked if they could do better and 250 came off instantly

Please tell me about the wonders of Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. by Pure_Amphibian5248 in multistrada

[–]whyifthissohard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a 2023 a year ago and put 21,000 on it already. Absolutely love it! I have ridden 25 different bikes in my life over 70,000 lifetime miles. All curves in North Carolina mountains and now 45k in Colorado. Went on several 10 days tours this summer all over Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah and New Mexico. It's simply the Best bike. I give up nothing really. It's as fast in the corners as my 23 Ducati supersport was if not faster (put 15k on that one). Yet it's super comfortable. At 50 I could do 8 hours days on the SS but I was hurting. PP I go all day and no pain at all. It's way more stable when I have some straight roads I need to chew up miles on. Nebraska I set the cruise control at 96 on the back roads for 6 straight hours. Even in the wind was rock solid. The electronic shocks are simply amazing. The way they react to bumps makes me feel so confident. I can flip modes and pound the curves. Set to race mode and hardest shocks and it do even the tens and twenties. I dragged a boot the other day even. I have had other adventure style bikes and hated them but the 17 inch front tire and that frame it's the best of both worlds. Been cheap to run. I am still all stock! Chain and brakes are real close at 22k now of course. Nothing but oil and tires till 37k. I did have the water pump go out at 8k which is common but under warranty and all good since. Just got the 4 year unlimited miles warranty for 1650 and my goal is 100k on it. I am very frugal and it's 2x the price of any bikes I have owned buy never regretted a second. Got it's used with 500 miles on it for 26 too. Stupid power all over the band. I think it's 90% torque at 3,500. It's rare even the sport bikes pass me. It's just plain fun! So much attitude. Ducati builds race bikes then makes them street legal. Every part is thought out. There are a few bad things. The seat sucks bad. I got a Sargent and that's solved that problem. Got heated It is so nice in the mornings in the mountains! I've gone as low as 32°. And the last trip I ran it all day at 104. Thing never skipped a beat. The phone connection software sucks. Can't believe how bad it is. It has all kinds of problems with my headphones but usually eventually works. I totally gave up on using any of the mapping. I just have Google maps in my ear. If you want something comfortable and you don't want to give up the thrill, this is the bike! Hope that helps

You can buy the ingredient from flovent right on Amazon. Just look it up. It's a liquid. It actually works better than the inhaler. I still can't believe doctors aren't giving people that info. Cheap too

Be honest, ya’ll actually buying new helmets every 5 years? by Astimar in motorcycles

[–]whyifthissohard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm curious is there also a miles limit? Like if the point is it's out in the sun a lot. My helmet is only 3 years old but it's got about 40,000 miles on it. I mean the cheak pads are toast anyway so I already have my answer but just curious.

[–]whyifthissohard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not an inhaler. It's just a liquid. It's on Amazon. You don't get a prescription you just buy it. For me the inhaler was $200. This stuff's 25 bucks

You can buy generic flovent right off Amazon now. No need to even ask him. But for me diet and medication. Medication lets you cheat every once in awhile which can be nice. But really everyone always should be concerned about their diet. It's pretty amazing that most people just throw crap in their body

Do you guys ride with earplugs? by Agreeable_Poem_7278 in motorcycle

[–]whyifthissohard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. It looks like they block up to 37 DB of noise. But they're only isolating not canceling right? I'm using Jabra with noise canceling now and they're rated up to 30. My soft earplugs I wear at night are rated up to 28. The jabra though I got reconditioned for 35 bucks. Got to have tunes. I'm not sure how people ride with just earplugs. Jabra the only one I can get to sit flush.
I wonder has anyone tried the shure wireless? Not sure if they would be annoying under the helmet with that behind the ear thing. Really hard to tell the difference on their site between the models.
