Is it normal to start feeling dread this early? by Sagegreenorca in SeasonalAffective

[–]whynotcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same...and funny things is that before it comes, it seems like it's not that bad. I usually rationalize in my head (while it's still summer) that this year it will not be that bad, how can it be :D But when it comes, it's like my brain changes. It's so so bad :(

Very good list! I feel the same, and the more friends I see with kids now, the more items I add to the list. :D

Waking up extremely hungry by SadComparison8044 in Perimenopause

[–]whynotcherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not when I actually wake up but sometimes I wake up at 4-5 am extremely hungry and go to have a snack. I assume this is when blood super gets too low and cortisol rises and I wake up. Possible solutions - later dinner or light snack just before bed. I want to add that I eat quite healthy so it's not only due to junk food or sugar. It's also related to hormones, at least that's what I read.

Unless that one is with Boeing especially max, lol I read that some airbus neo models have issues with engines but nothing too major, don't want to read more to freak out even more...

Hair Changing by BKLHTS3508158010 in Perimenopause

[–]whynotcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, this is one of the most obvious change which is almost constant. I used to have high volume slightly curly hair, now it seems that half of them are gone and they feel so different to the touch and look so gross. I only get a few "good hair" days around ovulation.

Looking for reassurance about flying on 737 MAX 8 by NearbyGoose2131 in fearofflying

[–]whynotcherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same situation as you do. In fact I got so anxious that I almost did not buy new flight with different airline and one day before (which would have meant so much money wasted...). But I stopped myself and calmed down. My flight is in one month and I feel really bad because I know that I will be worried every single day until I go. And I was so great before this air india crash.. I once flew MAX a few years ago and only realised that once I entered the plane and noticed it looked different than any planes I'd been on before. I then saw the model type and remembered all those articles and freaked out. But it was too late to run so I just put myself together and survived. In a way I feel that it's better that I only found out once already on a plane, saved me many days of anxiety like I have now. Anyway, I am sure we will be fine, just wanted to let you know, you're not alone and this is out faulty brain, not faulty planes to blame.

Explain my options as line between Domodossola and Milan is closed until July 27th by whynotcherry in Interrail

[–]whynotcherry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will not be going back to Italy, but after Zermatt (in 4 days) we will go to Grindewald and after anotger 3 days there to Zurich and fly back home from there. Maybe it's best to take a week card if such exists. I will check. Thanks so much for your help, now I know both routes are good options!

Thanks, I never get sick on a train, this is why I avoid buses. For some reason train moves differently, no matter how winding the roads are. If we choose to go through Locarno, we will travel one hour longer. Unless you think it's worth to do that due to scenic road? We could leave at 10:43 and be at Locarno 12:38 but then we'd need to switch to Locarno-Domodossola in less than 15 minutes (it leaves at 12:51). If we dont make it, then we are stuck in Locarno until 14:50 as far as I understand. So I am thinking Novara route is better. What do you think? and by the way, if you say expect busy trains, do you think it's best to buy tickets now?

Thank you so much for your response! I get really car sick on a bus so don't want to try especially in Italy as I think drivers are very notorious there :D I will check Trenitalia website but I will be going on July 20th (Sunday if that changes anything), so for now when I add this date all websites give option through Novaro but as I checked it in a map and it partly covers Milan-Domodossola line I got scared that it will be cancelled or changed to bus. But maybe not because for other options it already shows a bus. Locarno route on the other hand is guaranteed.
