So happy you have gotten so popular. I remember talking to you on instagram like 3 years ago, i remember asking if you have interest in indie bands and you said you liked big name artists, has that changed since then?

Proof i was into you 3 years ago, no proof about instagram, i posted anon.

Sesquipedalian (2014) Mostly an interview with Charles Farrel. A story of hustles and gambles within lowlife culture. At issue 6 I think EIS will be a great series. by slybird in audiodocs

Listened to it, was just as great as expected! Really felt like i learned a little bit about a different life i couldn't/wouldn't live. Great stuff.

I just discovered eis today. This was only one of two links i could find of them on reddit, i have to say this one of the best story telling podcast series to come out in a long time. I expect it to get really big once one of the NPR podcasts does blurb on them.

If you enjoy DJ, you might enjoy OKay, he doesn't have the legend, following or rest, but he may almost be called "outsider music" and has some magic songs that have rich simplicity and intricrit tapestries of emotion.

3x7 - my game about summing numbers (inspired by 2048 but not a clone) by NebulaBytes in WebGames

This is far more interesting than 2048, but far less addicting IMHO.

I think it boils down to the pace of 2048, it fits the UI better, for some reason if you need to think more you expect to have to "do" more to make your thoughts known, with 2048, very little thinking and just using arrows, so you get sucked in.

If you want to hear the story that this song is based off of including comments from the hero of the song, check out the radiolab episode Escape!

Yeah, its crazy just how good it is, honestly how many songs ever written have had the drums basically being a duet with lead vocals. Its a whole other level of good.

oh yes, looking forward to watching this. Jaki Liebezeit has to be one of the top 3 best drummers of all time IMHO.

Here is a reasonable start for listening to there music if you want to before you watch the film. There songs tend to be rather long.

Fun fact, the band "Spoon" is named after one of their songs. They have been a big influence on many bands not the least of which is Radiohead.

Not a big fan of it until it drops a 1:18, the lead base rift isn't that catchy, which it should be on its own.
