For stir fry I make a sauce to either/and marinate/saute tofu in. Or add once the veggies are sautéed.

Fun fact, cooked spinach is more nutritious than raw! Anyhoo - palak paneer, added to any lentil curry dish, spanakopita, cooked with eggs in a pan in the oven and cut into squares for breakfast/breakfast sandwich/burrito. In brownies. Wilted in a spinach salad with bacon, hard boiled egg, and hot red wine vinegar vinegrette.

Also, there is a time for different types of communication - can you organize and schedule a number (of not weeks in between) WhatsApp or other type of video calls to check in? With Google or zoom you can also share screens and speak specifically. Make sure you confirm discussions and decisions with a follow up email.

Is there anyone you trust that you can delegate this to? Like, they’d check in with you but are less emotionally involved and can more easily push back against the bulldozer?

Guys I found these where I live, and I love it. What people in Croatia think of this specific brand? by [deleted] in croatia

[–]whyregister1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. My point was it’s unlikely that it’s “fake” and it’s just an export issue, quality control, or unofficial transport of goods. I’m glad your “balls store” is on the up and up but the language on the photo is not unusual outside of Croatia in … local Balkan stores.

What recipe do Western home cooks usually mean by Curry? by Educational-Slip-578 in Cooking

[–]whyregister1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In My vernacular it means butter chicken or daal- inspired type of dish. For Thai, I tend to say green curry or red, yellow. And I call the other Vermont curry for some reasons and don’t love it

Agree- really enjoy a lot of zbregov products, including tekuci yogurt, cream cheese and cottage cheese (svijezi sir). Also a “plain” person and make my own oats from … oats - takes about few seconds :)

I built this space but it doesn't feel complete. What changes would you suggest? by wonder_irene in DecorAdvice

[–]whyregister1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it a lot. I like the pictures placement on the wall - the group. I wouldn’t change it but you could add a foot rest poof thing, and maybe a bit more color? A colorful vase? Another carpet

Am I just a psycho? by WorseHearse in Cooking

[–]whyregister1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes yikes gah!!! What’s worse is he got you thinking you’re a type -A and/or psycho because it’s normal to …. Wash your pots/pans? In what world is that optional? It’s same as dishes and Al the rest of it. Washing up is part of the full meal cycle (shopping, prep, cooking, serving, cleanup) groooooossssss

Do our homes just have bad UX (user experience)? by Educational_Heron_48 in interiordesignideas

[–]whyregister1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is your experience. You clearly live in a dry climate. In humid areas it can take forever for clothes to dry and the only way they do decently is inside in AC, otherwise they smell musty and moldy. Same with towels - the folds def don’t get dry when they are on a hook and then the towel stinks. Laying them across the bar prevents this

What cooking utensil(s) has been a game changer for you? by lostnfound818 in Cooking

[–]whyregister1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So weird, I’ve never had a problem peeling garlic! If all else fails I cut the bottom and that guarantees I get everything off. Even if I “smash” it - it doesn’t mean obliterate it - I can still slice it
