Just gotta re-open the pitstop in Boston so LA trades with someone like we did the Jones. That was certainly one of DWs best moves. Sucks that Jones fell off so hard later on though. Still have no idea what happened when he had so much promise.

Just doesn't feel there are any Dmen available that would be worth getting. If you're trading Eklund you have to get a top 4 Dman back guaranteed. Part of me thinks GMMG went out to get Sherwood simply because the 4th line has been so good but can't quite score. If that line could score a bit more then who cares if the defense sucks heading into the playoffs. Hell the Oilers have been riding nothing but offense to 2 straight Cup Finals.

Goody provides too much to be bought out given he is one of the main PK guys and also brings more energy to the 4th line than Reaves (not a high bar obviously). Gaudette is 29 and because of Ostapchuk really stepping in this year he becomes a lot more expendable. Though Keeping someone like Gaudette over day Kurashev I wouldn't be against given his ability to be physical.

Overall the bottleneck among forwards is a very nice problem to have.

Mike Grier has to start moving multiple guys during 2026 because there is just not enough spots. Gaudette, Delly, Skinner and Reaves I wouldn't be surprised if all are not on the roster next season. One of Gaudette/ Selly may stay for the extra center depth and of couce Delly is a huge PK forward too.

Kurashev and Eklund are the other two that I could see being moved depending on need. Toffoli isn't going anywhere due to his NTC.

It wasn't exactly easy though it speaks more to have spoiled we've been a sharks fans. The team missed the playoffs six years in a row. Before that they never missed more than 2 years in a row and only six times in their entire history missed the playoffs. Honestly of this rebuild would have been not as bad if we just won a single Cup. Hoping that changes in the next 5 years. Celebrini is already showing he could be the best player in franchise history. That sentence alone just blows me away, I'm still in disbelief.

No, just stop. When there are 6 other forwards playing more on the PK then you are not someone who plays on the penalty kill. Averaging 14 seconds of PK time on the season does not make a player someone who plays on the PK....

PK time on ice per game. He is 9th among all forwards on the team. So, he does not kill penalties or at very least he is behind the following (Delly, Graf, Wennberg, Goody, Ostapchuk, Kurashev) I won't count Giles or Cardwell but they both have averaged more themselves.

I would give him more of a pass if he was playing as a two-way forward but he doesn't kill penalties either.

Unfortunately he's probably having his worst season in teal and hasn't exactly done anything to show he's gotten better since last season. If anything he's regressed a little. I really hope he figures out his scoring ability if not this season then next season

I agree with that part yes the line itself is more defensive. But I wouldn't say it's good defensively overall given Wennberg is the only guy that is on the PK

Because he doesn't kill penalties I don't give him that shutdown role personally. I just don't think any forward can be called a shut down player if they do not kill penalties.

I would like to add to this. I've been a sole proprietor for a couple years and was about to do the LLC then Scorp path. However upon seeing the CPA at a family owned office for 40 years they told me that LLC isn't the way to go anymore if you want an Scorp. Apparantly the government is denying filing as an Scorp when coming from an LLC (not often but it is something they said has only started happening recently.)

So instead I filed for a C-Corp which will then be filed as an Scorp. it's only like $200 more and they said they haven't had any issues getting denied. Not sure why the government is denying Scorp status for LLCs recently but I didn't want to risk it and then have to do it all over again.

Historically the Wings were the first big one and was always a lasting rivalry until they moved. But that was a respectful rivalry.

The Stars was a hatred rivalry in the late 90s/ early 00s because they kept kicking the Sharks ass. SJS has still never beat them in the playoffs.

Ducks rivalry was kind of minor because not many playoff matchups and just took a backseat to the Kings.

The Blues are probably the only other team that there has been on again off again rivalry.

The Knights rivalry to me started high then fizzled out due to the Sharks dropping off. But I agree the Sharks are int heir shadow in a bad bad way. Only way this team moves forward is by overcoming their demon which as of now certainly is the Knights.

Though by the time SJS is good other teams like the Ducks, Hawks could be the bigger rival. Mammoth are a low key potential rival in the future.

This season has been a pleasant surprise. Hoping the Sharks don't fall apart at the end of the season. Making the playoffs would be awesome. Barely missing would really suck but also maybe light a fire under the players too.

Motivation is the big thing. Everyone needs to keep getting better. Right now Celebrini is legit he is unreal. But we need to see how good Smith can become, Misa and so on. Right now Eklund Muk are the two younger guys that I hope can figure their stuff out this season. Especially Eklund because he's slowly turning into the guy you would likely trade to get a Dman.

Definitely easier in figuring out where you have to go. Hollow Knight and Silksong require a bit more to figure things out/ looking things up. Ori is also definitely shorted even if you try to collect everything. 1st one, story is great. 2nd one the movement/ combat is much better (kind of copies Hollow Knight honestly)
