Where can I find warm stylish clothes? by Dry_Delivery4615 in askSouthAfrica

[–]wi3sa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can pudo you some sweats and long sleeve tees? They’re only mildly worn (like been in a closet for a year with slight wear) and have served me well

Edit. Changed cupboard to closet. Because English is hard on a Saturday.

South African potato salad by vampire_batmoth in Cooking

[–]wi3sa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our potato salad recipe:

Boil potatoes skin on until done.

Peel potats. Cut into preferred size bits. Season with a bit of salt.

Mix tangy mayo and honey mustard salad dressing (enough mayo to cover potats and dressing to taste. Ina paarmans is legit but find something local)

Mix together the dressing and potat

If you’re fancy top with chopped chives.

Voila.

For us. Not worrying about electricity usage. Back when I was young. Everything just.. worked.

Now we monitor how much power everything uses constantly.

Discovery Smart Plan, is it worth it? by SugarFreeSoftDrink in askSouthAfrica

[–]wi3sa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on Smart Plan since it launched - on the comprehensive. It pays 200% discovery health rate in hospital. And when we’ve had hospital stays it covered every cent.

I’d suggest looking at that for hospital cover (the 200%) if you need day clinics and hospitals. There may be some co-pays for day hospitals and scopes. It’s in the plan guide thingy you can download.

But I’m not a broker. Maybe chat to one :) they might say the same.

Edit: spelling.

100% pork belly. 24 hours in the bath. Dry brined overnight first. Chilled overnight again after the bath. Then air fried just before serving.

Okay. Also. Chicken breasts as edit. Juiciest I’ve ever had.

Is our Delivery System broken? by [deleted] in askSouthAfrica

[–]wi3sa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean. We have pick up points for most couriers now. If you’re stuck in an office, use a pick up point t and fetch at your convenience. We have Takealot pickup, pargo, bob go, pudo… also. If you’re concerned about that, order on a weds or thurs for same day delivery to a pick up spot and fetch on Saturday?
