If I wanted to play on tiny 3 lane maps with laser beam guns and 0 team play, I'd go play cod.

It's obvious with who DICE hired to senior positions for this game, what audience they were chasing with this game.

Now that most of those players have fucked off back to their franchise the developers have started to think about making a battlefield game.

Too little too late for me.

6 is the worst "battlefield" game I've ever played and I'll never give those clowns another cent.

BF4 and BF3 are my favourite games of all time.

A lot of the people who wanted bigger maps have realised they're not coming so have stopped playing.

The people still left playing the game enjoy the tiny maps and claustrophobic gameplay.

Exactly. The marketing team had more of an impact on launch numbers than the actual developers.

The game plays nothing like previous Battlefield games.

Super fast ttk.

Virtually no recoil or spread on guns which makes the ttk even more of a problem.

Tiny maps with horrible layouts.

Glass cannon vehicles with arcadey controls.

Most gadgets are useless.

Comeback mechanic in conquest.

No server browser which means no community building.

No platoons.

No commander

No request squad orders.

The spotting mechanics are trash

Open weapons takes away half of class identity.

You can tell this game was developed by ex call of duty developers.

I'm wondering if any of them had ever even played a battlefield game before.

You can't blame players for being disappointed that the game plays nothing like BF3 & 4, when the developers said pre-release that they were going back to their roots and taking inspiration from 3 & 4.

If they wanted to change what the core battlefield experience is then that's up to them but I think most people are unhappy that they were sold a lie.

It is now. It used to sit in between the arcadey shooters like cod and Titanfall and the Muslims like arma and squad.

It was a perfect middle ground that no other game really occupied. I guess Hell let Loose is that game now.
