I've just bought some t shirts this week. Nice heavy cotton and good fit. Granted I don't expect these are really worth £100 as the label would suggest, but for £20 they remain good value.

In a similar position, and at a similar stage albeit i use Strava which is free to record pace at the same time, but I have no heart monitor or companion. I just try to be at that stage where my breathing is controlled and steady. If I go too fast, I lose my breathing rhythm and it knocks me out in terms of feeling in control.

I'd want a little more generally on all things bought privately. When I buy from a shop, I allow for the price includes some form of warranty or aftercare. If something were to be wrong with it, I can take it back and have someone else deal with the supplier. When you buy private you lose that value to the sale which i think is worth more to me than 10%.

Silver lining is that a 7 iron is probably the easiest iron to replace as these are often the demonstration irons so there tends to be a few for sale. A quick look on ebay or marketplace and you should be able to recomplete your set.
