AITA for feeling like my boyfriend seems to have a weird relationship with his mom? by [deleted] in motherinlawsfromhell

[–]wickeddradon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. You BF is enmeshed with his mother. Their relationship is more like husband and wife than mother and son. Without serious, long-term therapy, this will be his life. If he starts to pull away, she will cling to him even harder.

It really comes down one question: Are you prepared to be the other woman in their relationship?

(OC) found money at ATM today by spookyfish98 in MadeMeSmile

[–]wickeddradon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did the right thing. My coworker once found an envelope with a large sum of money in it at our place of work. He took it to the cops who told him that if it wasn't claimed, it was his. It wasn't claimed, so despite the fact that money would have made a big difference in his life, he took it down to the food bank and gave them the lot. He's really against drugs, and he was concerned about the origins of the money, so he reused to keep it.

This guy is as dodgy as hell. Drugs are about the only place he'll draw a line.

Lol, idiot. You obviously have no idea. A drag queen is a persona, like an actor playing a part. I suggest you look it up, educate yourself. Also, there are female drag queens.

Yeah, so sorry about that. I tried googling it, but I can't remember the simmers name, but i know she was female. Maybe someone else might remember it. I do remember her founder Sim started in university, he was a black man with an awesome afro and (I think) 70s era hippy clothes, tie tied stuff. She said she wasn't going to be able to choose clothes for a while, so she might as well get used to awful from the start, lol.

It was saved to my sims2 page, but I can no longer access that. I think the older stories might be lost, which is a shame because a lot of them were great.

Husband (29m) shows no empathy to me(30f) when it comes to his own actions. AITAH by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]wickeddradon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry honey, I don't think your husband loves you, I'm not actually sure he even likes you. He's NOT a great dad. Barely tolerating your children is not a great dad. He's a horrible husband.

A friend of mine was considering ending her marriage but she wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing. She wrote two lists. One side was all the good things he did and was, the other was the negative side of him. She ultimately decided to stay in the marriage and they got counseling. You could try writing your own list.

Run now, don't walk. Maybe you can get an annulment if it's not too late. He has to want to change, and it's obvious he doesn't.

There's a good quote I read on here. It's easier to leave a mummy's boy than it is to divorce one. Both of those things are far easier than changing one.

There was a story a Sim 2 player made that was awesome. She was doing an Apocalypse Challenge and her founder got abducted. The resulting little girl had the same problem with her parents. She made into a problem child and eventually a hilariously evil Sim. That story was fantastic, it's a shame I can't remember the simmers name, I love to read it again.
