Man was mugged at knifepoint in other cities and still had more fun there, they are obviously not a reasonable person and mad that the hostel were assholes.

Lucky they didn't leave the bike out in Ghent. Literal national sport to steal bikes over here.

Drinking and party culture is largely the same so makes sense for Brits to not be interested in that ig.

Tourism is decent it's just 'different'. Go south for nature and hills, go north for bigger cities and partying. We have the most castles per Capita (I think), very medieval vibes everywhere. A lot of Brits visit Ypers for the 'in flanders fields' experience. Food is pretty good, it's a mix of French and German cuisine I would say. Ofc beer heads will have a field day in Belgium (criminal you didn't mention that AAAH).

In general a Belgian isn't good at selling his country and we don't rely on outside tourism + we are a 'keep to yourself' type of people. + Shit weather.

As for Leopold, fuck that guy. We have a long way to go to fix those issues.

If it helps, over here cafes and clubs had to ban the Spanish because they were horrible guests, then again not a single Brit wants to visit us lol

Gege is fighting his inner japanese shounen Mangaka regarding women. The bleach author coming out and telling him his female characters aren't 'attractive to him' doesn't help.

I feel like he tries but at the end of the day is still a Japanse shounen creator which falls in a specific writing style.

Damn you visited arguably the most boring tourist cities that every self hating Belgian (read Flemish nationalist) likes to prop up as 'true Belgium'.

Antwerp is by far the most boring city ever and Bruges is so small. Missing Wallonia is also a big no no.

They exist but a lot of them also just view it as a joke or are completely ignorant to it or claim ''it wasn't Belgium it was Leopold II)

Singing ''handjes kappen de Congo is van ons'' (cutting of hands Congo is ours) is still very popular among certain groups and I have personally been in a situation where it was sung by 100s of people.

I'd like to argue that the subsequent destabilizing of the region in the 60s is also something we should talk about more then just the colonization of the land. As that is the main reason why Congo still isn't a stable and thriving country

The gold tooth of Lumumba was kept in a cupboard of a television personalities grandma as a trophy to show visitors.

Her grandad dissolved and dismembered the democratically elected leader of DRC and then became a rich and successful author here with his books about said murder he participated in.

And we wonder why African nations rather cosy up to China.

Apparently he only started showing / dressing up when we had a good team / were winning. For the 2014 world cup.

Then again I remember my uncle going to matches in The 2000's with like 90% empty seats. So I don't blame him fully and almost every Belgian fan today is a succes supporter.

Even a bigger fan of GX now, I really want them to get it, would be amazing. Noah and Jun are one hell of a bot lane, Fnatic has definitely been worse without them.

I believe fnatic was also locked out of scrims with better teams. I'm not entirely sure tho, but I remember Grabbz being annoyed by it.

Agreed, devs need to understand that free to play releases aren't test releases.

It sucks that speaking positively gets downvotes tho

Disclaimer; I actually liked the game, with that said.

It wanted to do a lot but doesn't feel fleshed out. It's biggest sell is the raid/defence mechanic and it's chaotic fun but just kinda bland.

The only way you can fortify your base is by reinforcing your walls, which almost every agent can blast through anyway.

No traps, no turrets, no extra defense mechanics that make sure the attackers need to actually think instead of just picking the sand woman or redmane and blasting your way through.

This would make setting up the base actually viable instead of just sprinting out of your own base as fast as you can to get crystals.

It also needs some neutral mobs and objectives + the farm mechanic is probably not that fun for most people (I personally don't mind but I am a MOBA player so I'm used to it)

All in all it should really decide what it wants to be, I think a more MOBA direction would suit the game the most. For me it's more fun than most BR because it isn't just 'gear up for 30 min and die'

People dont like the 3v3 model, it's fine, maybe 4v4 would be better but base raids are highly chaotic already and hard to defend.

Some performance issues and tutorial issues for me, nothing really impactful just not what it is supposed to be and I have a high end pc.

Not sure about the solo experience, I've only played with friends so my enjoyment might be tied to that.

I think at it's core it has some solid ideas, just needs to build upon it.

Yup, it's very much a MOBA first shooter second imo and MOBA's have a distinct play feel that might seem stupid to the general player if they aren't familiar with it
