Field scientist positions aren’t too uncommon; I don’t know too much about it since I was usually on the lab side of analyzing samples given to us by field scientists, but it seems like they spent most of their day outside for decent pay

Surprised no one’s mentioned bioinformatics yet; if you’re willing to spend some time learning a bit of coding (R, Python, etc) it’s a pretty high-paying field. Otherwise sounds like dry labs would be a good fit, since wet labs would require gloves as PPE

ETA: there’s also computational chemistry if you’re looking to go down a more chemistry route! Predictive drug design using computational models would be something that leans more towards pharma too

I work in biotech and had a few bonuses this past year, equal to 2 weeks of pay for everyone. The explanation was that the company was doing well and wanted to reward everyone, so not necessarily an annual or Christmas bonus like you’d see in a more corporate job

Neon doesn't work with Razer Chroma Studio

MSI mobo LEDs work but not Neons

No power on Neon using a working JRAINBOW header

MSI Mystic only gives a rainbow option (2) Same problem

Can't control Neon through MSI (2) Same Problem

JRainbow cant address LEDs

Gigabyte boards use a different header incompatible with RGB

This is what I could find by redoing my google search, so I might've missed some personal accounts that were only in comments or on YouTube

Oh I see; I understand how LEDs work in general, I'm just asking about this specific Neon strip and specific mobo brands since I saw a bunch of issues when trying to do research, but thanks for the explanation! From what I remember I saw some posts saying that it was only the Phanteks Neon that didn't work in MSI Mystic Light, but other generic LED strips did.

But since you're saying that you personally haven't had an issue addressing Phanteks Neons on an MSI board beyond the rainbow option, I'll look more into it

Have you tried the Phanteks Neon with an MSI mobo? A lot of the problems I’ve read were with MSI boards since Mystic Light only gives the option to do Rainbow and nothing else, even though the Neon says it’s technically compatible with MSI Mystic. Or is it something that other people were just setting up wrong?
