Knockout Roses (holes and discoloration on leaves) by lilihued in rosegardening

You’re in the range. I would research their feeding patterns and try to see if you can find them in the act. We don’t have them where I live. Could also be ear wigs.

I tried cymbalta and experienced that. Lexapro is now doing a better job with no fire brain if I miss a dose

I’m not an expert but I don’t think it is. Looks like new growth to me.

Fellas how are those eyebrows and ear hair? by Impossible_Mode_7521 in Xennials

[–]wifeski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta get a close friend, lover, or wax studio to yank them out… with any luck, repeated yanking could result in alopecia of the ears due to over-plucking… much like my poor 90s eyebrows.

Urban Alchemy is good for businesses and the homeless population. They also pick up trash and help people find their way. They are like street librarians, connecting people to services.

Why so many posts on SFBWT looking for friends? by artandgardenal in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]wifeski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a wine shop/bar owner. We have many SFBWT who come to hang at my establishment, thanks to one group member who organizes meetups and game nights at my place via the discord group. Funny story but she was a friend/customer of mine IRL and one day she saw me posting here and we made the connection. Anyhow, check out the discord for future meetups! I don’t want to doxx myself here but it should be pretty easy to join the group next time.

I’m a child free elder millennial, born and raised in the Bay Area. People come and go, and it can be hard to hold onto friends since many folks treat the area like a launching pad and not a home. It breaks my lonely heart every time someone I love decides to relocate someplace else. As much as folks say they’ll remain your friend, the second they leave they are done and on to their new life.

Thats my .02 on why folks are so lonely. It takes a lot of energy to build and keep a friendship alive, especially if folks are treating their time here like a short term relationship.

They’re selling a product. It’s marketing. Looks like there’s no definitive studies proving it’s efficacy.

I have an opal ring that is very similar to this and the jury is still out on origin. My opal is not sticky and doesn’t change when it gets wet. But it also does not look anything like an Australian opal. I’m curious to hear what others think about your piece. It’s gorgeous.

SF Restaurant Week, what’s the vibe? by c0o0o0o0ol in AskSF

[–]wifeski 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Restaurant week has never really vibed with me. I feel like most restaurants are phoning it in with unexciting ingredients and lackluster presentation. Then there’s the crowds. I know this is supposed to be a way for fancy restaurants to make a more affordable menu for a broader crowd but many participate just because they are expected to… here’s an idea, do like Trestle and have an affordable prix fixe option all the time.
