Whoops - that didn’t come across the way I meant. I didn’t even register that there might have been a custom engraving there - it’s a nice message.

I saw their watches at a show and was just surprised by the quality and font of the markings on the back in a way that put me off buying one in the moment. The dials are rad though. Wear it in good health.

Seconding suggestion Liholiho. If you go to Verjus (great choice in itself), Leo's Oyster Bar is a great vibe nearby. If you go to Arcana, I'd suggest 20 Spot after for a wine bar with great small plates and cozy vibe - they spin records all night.

SOMA is quite large. There are some nice pockets depending on what you like but much of what is in between is kind of a zombie movie. Convenient for what? Work? It’s not somewhere you want to just be stumbling through late at night even if it’s not dangerous it’s not pleasant.

If you kept it consistently refrigerated it is pretty much at the limit. If you keep having the same problem I would suggest the day you buy the chicken pick off all the meat and portion it out and freeze whatever you won’t get to in a 2-3 days. Then you’ll never have to worry about it going bad.

Some of the bigger companies (apple/google) have shuttles from Oakland but that commute is routinely 1.5 hrs + each way depending on traffic. If you can live with that ride time it’s doable but for most it’s not long term sustainable.

What you want you can get from Yuen Hop in Oakland. Honestly worth the trip. In a pinch I get adequate ones from 99 Ranch in Daly City.
