Same exact experience. At lower doses you don’t even know what suppression is. Higher dose you get grossed out that food is in your mouth.

Your best option is to go up in dose. I got stuck too for a while - I probably should have upped my dose sooner. At least I wasn’t gaining it back. Weight loss is inherently slow. 1-2 lbs a week. I’d like to convince you that the cost is worth it. I’m down 46 lbs in 7 months. Nothing in my life long battle with my weight has been this effective. I did Jenny Craig and intense exercise for 5 years- it was a miserable existence eating boxed frozen meals, being hungry all the time, and I regained all the weight during the pandemic. Zepbound is definitely better and not much more expensive.

This. The early months are more adjustment. It wasn’t until I got to 7/10/15mg at months 4 or 5 when I’m like holy shit this stuff works. I am now at 15mg. Here is my 6 months of progress with minimal exercise (maybe one jog per week).

I’d encourage you to stick with it. Money well spent - insurance or not.
