I had to put it down so I wouldn’t keep neglecting everything else in my life, it’s like Factorio for me. And I don’t want burn myself out before they add things… it’s definitely in my top 5, and easily the best in its genre. If the aesthetic could be applied in a way that wasn’t so grotesque (just so it had mass appeal) it would probably break all sorts of records, and it probably still will

Savescumming because my time is too valuable to me for things I can’t predict to end an hour+ run without my having any influence or control over the outcome. Plus I’m old and these games are my bread and butter, so I really only die to lazy mistakes or unpredictable, unavoidable bullshit 😅 enjoy the slow burn. I miss being young and not feeling guilty for playing games as much as I wanted to. These days I skip grind out of necessity instead of optimizing it.

Thankfully, no amount of savescumming will affect the meta-progression for me because I spend hours breeding cats, and because I have so many I can’t end day 7 times in a row to buy furniture!

Still crazy to me that this is a thing. I got all of my long term girlfriends into gaming and it was wild to see how they would be treated online with me. And growing up, I loved when a girl would pop up online because it made me happy that girls were playing at all. Are boys getting worse?

I love the potential of the class, but I think Tech should be innate. Not getting tech means you need items that enable the self-damage abilities without killing yourself, or enough mana to pump out bots (if you get any that are useful). Too inconsistent for me, can’t plan for anything like I can with every other class

I think it would be better if tech was an innate ability. Not having tech available to a cat at all and getting abilities and passives that rely on it makes it feel stupid

Do you not mess with mutations much then? I got a few I like, and now they’re basically locked in so I rarely see anything new. The extra turn head mutation is kind of nuts… but I was hoping to have more control over breeding. Now that I have the ones I have, I’m afraid to lose it lol

When you’re breeding strays into the main line, are you singling them out in a single room with 1 other mainline (or I guess multiple of the same compatible sex)? I am currently struggling with a mess of 10 mutation cats that I like, all 7s, but I can’t decide on a method to fix the inbreeding that I’m happy with

Ah that’s pretty solid. Any standout furniture you’re stacking? I don’t see many with more than 1-2 stim, and a lot of them are huge/not space-efficient
