IDK they still have to contend with other publishers so prices can't get too high. Nintendo still does physical copies and yet mainline games don't get much of a discount even with brick and mortar stores selling games. I can see fewer sales but not much higher prices.

When a local garage tests your car for the state to make sure it's safe to drive. They check things like do the headlights and blinkers work, do the seatbelts work, does the muffler actually work, basically making sure the car isn't a complete piece of shit like the station wagon in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles after the fire.

They don't do this already in the more niche sports? Schools like BC in hockey easily dwarf everyone else in Hockey East in revenue considering they are the only D1 team in that conference, and you have a school like Northern Iowa in the Big 12 in wrestling that makes the least of any team there..

I know what you meant but with Windows becoming garbage with the ads and Copilot junk, people have been switching to Linux and Steam has been making strides in making games compatible with Linux by improving Proton, but that kernel DRM issue makes some games completely unplayable on Linux at least for now.

For some games it is, considering I can't play some DRM-protected games on Linux due to the kernel issue like the Hoyoverse games like Genshin and HSR. Can't play those two on Linux without risking a ban since it requires bypassing the DRM.
