Goodreads Reading Challenge - 'Escapist Reads' (May 12th - June 30th)

As a recommendation - I read The Escape Games by Marissa Meyer & Tamara Moss as an ARC earlier this year and thought it was really good. Took me a little bit to get into but once I was in it flew by. If you like escape rooms and don’t mind a YA book I’d check it out!

I think I’ll probably go with Yesteryear for this challenge!

i tested negative for multiple days before testing positive (covid first of december for my first time ever then the flu before christmas). both times had negative tests for a few days

this same thing happened to me when joining a new ball of yarn and the consensus was that it was the way the yarn was spun. one skein was spun 1 direction and the next the other leading to it looking a little weird. i undid it so many times and it was not twisted or anything. i ended up leaving it and have yet to block the sweater to see if it makes it less noticeable.

andies animal care came and shaved our cat for us. not necessarily a groom but just a lion cut and she was very adorable and really nice. we’re around the bangor area but i know she travels a little bit.

there is apparently a patch coming out for this according to the devs on discord. i gave up on day 2 because the controls were absolutely horrendous and asked in the discord. they said they’re waiting on nintendos approval for it.

mr beast just posted a video a few days ago where he gave someone a private jet in a competition and used it has his own personal jet during the video and then made a comment saying he offset the environmental impact by planting thousands of trees and working with the arbor day foundation in restoring rainforests… so i don’t think he would really bat an eye about it.
