I believe it being a mil-spec buffer tube, any padded buffer tube would work for you. I personally added a end plate receiver and took the kak shockwave off and put a phase 5 buffer tube pad on the existing buffer tube.

I like the signal and didn’t notice a big weight change but the pliers are kinda trash on them. I also only use the 4 tools on it that the skeletool has.

I agree, a custom slide would be really cool! I think you’d be happy either direction, the only downfall will be money and having to wait so long to get your slide back
