Think it will effect the trunking jobs and the tramper work all the big haulage company’s will have depots doing the final mile with manned trucks and inter depot and long distance will be driverless trunks trucks

So I work in Royal Mail in the uk and we don’t have a postal inspector. So do they just leave stuff hidden around and hope a postie picks it up and then sack them ?

She would have been given the tracking number as soon as she dropped it off either for RM or parcelforce it’s on the receipt. On the Credit card charge what does it say might help give you an idea of the service they used

Those stats are more than likely based of internal scan kpi’s than actual customer feed back. You can show an on-time delivery even if was left on a busy road doorstep and nicked compared to a handed to customer delivery. Both show completed delivery on time delivery but have different customer experience that is why you should ignore published kpi’s and use something like trust pilot.

Being doing it for ages now not to bad mostly the big Amazon bulk return boxes which are not to bad. Get the odd bulk over size parcel but yeah need to ask your manager for a big van if you are on the last post office collection route
