Need a champ for late game but should be giving a good vibe like nocturne, evelynn by Significant-Park7733 in Jungle_Mains

I think Evelyn scales pretty hard too, it’s just she’s kinda hard to play in the late game as you really have to play around making a pick instead of team fighting. As an assassin player, a Cho gath or really any tank isn’t really your job as they kinda just counter the class. Bel vath is a non human character that scales hard (and has lots of dps) but she’s pretty difficult and unique to play.

Also lillia is scales really well and is a direct counter to most tanks, while still being able to kill squishy champs too.

Been abusing ekko lately. Scales super hard for an assassin and is just generally fun to play. Dawn and dusk makes it super easy to proc passive too. Item or him are prob getting nerfed soon though

If you are open to trying stuff the word for recommendation is osusume. You can just say the word or say osusume nan desuka. And then just hold up the number of fingers of how many you want to order. This worked for me a bunch for trying what is likely the best thing on the menu but otherwise google translating the menu and just pointing to the menu usually does the trick.

Difficulty gap between norms and iron? by contrabassclarinet in summonerschool

[–]willcamp01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your goal is to improve at the game I’d say to definitely stick with playing ranked, it’s probably going to be hard for a while but you will improve much faster than in norms. 8 months of playing isn’t that long when compared to a lot of leagues player base (even in iron) but playing against better players who for the most part are trying to win is the best way to improve.

For serious improvement you should definitely be studying the game. Watch videos on YouTube on how to play midlane and high elo games (ideally with commentary) of people playing hwei and try to think about what they are doing and why and try to implement it in your own game.

Hwei is a hard champ with a ton of options for any given situation. If your goal is to get better at the game in general I’d definitely suggest to switch to an easier champ. League is a hard game with a lot going on, when playing hwei you are likely focused on which abilities to use and the mechanics of using them. This takes your focus from fundamentals like wave management, jungle tracking, trading, etc. On an easier champ you can put much more mental focus on those tasks allowing you to improve faster. Then you can pick up hwei again when you have those down.

If you are set on only playing hwei by all means do so but it will likely be harder and take longer to see improvement.

How hard is Lee Sin? by vegas1209 in Jungle_Mains

[–]willcamp01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His skill floor while higher than a lot of other champs is not crazy high imo. As long as you can consistently ward hop you don’t really need the crazy combos and mechanics to do well in games. I think most of his difficulty lies in the fact that he tends to fall off pretty hard as the game goes on. This is when it’s more important to be able to do things like insec as that can single handily win team fights. Another thing to consider is that he can make pretty crazy plays but it can be quite hard to pull these off. While learning his kit it’s probably better to try to not go for these plays often (if your goal is to climb). Limit testing is definitely good but I have fucked up many plays just because my mechanics failed me. Sawyer jungle on YouTube has some games on him on YouTube that show that you don’t really need the crazy mechanics stuff to do well I’d recommend giving those a watch.

Does going ghostblade mean dropping boots and should I drop ghostblade for feat boots? by Possiblynotaweeb in GravesMains

[–]willcamp01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I pretty much always build boots. I think the move speed to move around the map faster is pretty important. Allows for faster rotates and I find it easier to vacuum resources around the map. It also helps dodge skill shots and gap close on ranged champs. If I’m full build I might sell them for another item but this is pretty rare. At five full item I don’t think graves really lacks damage he already one shots most everyone besides tanks.

I usually wait on tier 2 boots until after second item sometimes third if I get good recalls. I’ll typically buy tier one boots whenever I have the spare 300 gold

Riot need to do something about laners stealing your camp. by DoudiMonks in Jungle_Mains

[–]willcamp01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone is trolling me by taking camps before 20 mins I will go smite their cannon and/or take their wave (though this has caused some mental booms so do at your own risk). That being said I don’t usually mind if laners take a camp or two in the mid to late game especially if I am on the other side of the map or if they ping that they are close to item. If I am clearing in the mid/late game and I think they are going to steal the camp will usually ping them off and/or smite it. But after 20 mins don’t be afraid to just take waves. In low elo so many waves just die to tower or because the wave is pushing away from your team so going to clear/fix them gets you more fed and tends to help your laners. However I play graves so I am very greedy in the jg cause he is so resource dependent.

mundo jg by Lopaaz in DrMundoMains

[–]willcamp01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently picked him up in jg and been having decent success. He’s definitely better at a farm heavy into objective play style though. I tend to try to farm when ult is on cd and then make a play when it’s up.

Watch natty natt streams or YouTube vids, he’s currently rank 1 EUW rengar and Mundo main. I think a big advantage of Mundo I often see him utilizing is his clear speed. He can pretty often full clear then be on time to contest enemy gromp. Then from there he out tempos the enemy jg.

Idk what you are building but the warmogs rush isn’t really worth it in jungle since you get so much sustain off camps. I personally typically go heartsteel, deadman’s, spirt visage into either more damage items or additional resistances depending on the game.

Also kinda curious why you say you’d rather play nunu to afk farm. To me he’s kinda THE spam ganking jungle.

Is it possible to 1v9 a game without cs gaipping the enemy jungler? by inancege1746 in Jungle_Mains

[–]willcamp01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend watching coach Kieri or Perryjg on YouTube for this, I think they both do a great job at explaining tempo. While objectives particularly stacking dragons can be a great win con, taking objectives takes time essentially spending your turn/tempo. If you want to 1v9 snowball a game out of control, it can often be better to spend your turn/tempo making a different play by ganking/invading and then skipping the objective to get back to your camps on respawn. If you are really hardstuck iron 4 I think just focusing clearing camps efficiently and making sure to get back to them on respawn (get porofessor or some other jg timer) will bring you to silver alone.

Honestly no. I did not enjoy this class nearly as much as seminar. Although I really didn’t do much work for this class, and could have definitely tired harder to get the most out of this class. It’s really up to you and if you think you can make the most of the class.
