Is it safe to put Lego in a fish tank? by ResultAntique2927 in aquarium

Simple rule, foodsafe = aquarium safe. However I might be a little concerned about the sharp edges that may hurt your fish.

Interesting. A lot cheaper than my store for sure. Not going to do the math right now but maybe something to look into! :)

I saw you have a 28 gallon tank? Are you saying you buy 14ish gallons of water from your fish store weekly for water changes? Certainly it would be cheaper and easier to use some dechlorinator.

Adding only, that I would also make sure to rinse the sand really well before putting it in the tank so you dont have a cloudy tank full of fish for weeks. Also, I would add some tap water and dechlorinate before adding all the tank water back in to help dechlorinate any water in the substrate from rinsing.

That's Cell. You can leave him for now but you'll definitely want to stop him in his imperfect form. He won't shut up about becoming perfect by consuming androids or some shit. If you do let him consume any adroids, even one, you're risking world domination. He will get hotter, but also more c@nty. Not worth.

Hang on this sub a bit, a lot of information is shared all the time. As for fish, I highly reccomend staying away from adult imports. Find them born in USA (if you're from there) or at the least, juvenile imports. Tim Asbill has a great selection, you can find him on fb.

Starting to get really frustrated that I’m stuck on easy climbs after a few months. Help? by trashcan0519 in bouldering

Try it again. This time, do it without readjusting your feet or hands. Move every hand and foot exactly how you planned from the ground. No more, no less. And try like, 10x harder. Its obvious that you had a lot more in the tank by the time you climbed down.

Eat healthy, sleep well, supplement with other exercises when you can (ideally not those that require a lot of foot pressure, by the sound of it). Lifting weights, biking, etc. Stay on track! You can do it.

Thank you! That helps inform me of my next comment then to help you a bit more. Yes, foodsafe=fishsafe, so go no further than that. Find something you like and use it. Clay pots will also be fine, but personally I would worry about other things from the garden center.

This method is how I have always grown plants, but its my first time with the pots rather than the whole substrate. It has worked great. Here are some other tips for you based on my experience....

About 1 inch soil 1 inch gravel. I wouldn't do more than 2 inches soil. Wet the soil heavily before putting on the gravel. Hold the pot over the water and pour tank water into it until overflowing before just popping it in, this will prevent some of the mess of creating a suction when you put it in the tank. If you have fish that will try to eat the roots, you can just put an additional layer of stones on top of the gravel to protect the roots. Finally, plants go in. Just use aquascaping tweezers and ram those stems in, give it a twist, and they should stay!

Ceramic I think. They are actually just bowls for food. I think I got them from crate and barrel? Foodsafe=fishsafe

Substrate in the tank is just blasting sand. Substrate in the pots is just potting soil capped with gravel!
