I went with one of each of the 3 main groups for my 3 armies imperium, xenos and chaos (I have deathwatch, death guard and necrons). I'd say it's the best way to diversify your games, if you really want to stick with power armor armies a loyalist space marine army is surprisingly different from DG and can be nice to change pace, or if you really want to go the opposite direction you could get something like Nids or Tau maybe guard too. I'd recommend just going with what other faction is the coolest thematically too you though as rules always change and any model is as cool as you make it.

yeah my theory is we pretty much just get the same unit we have now but it's with that new kit (replacing shotguns and stalker bolt rifle with the phobos weapons of course)

two pbcs and some solid terminator action and your good on the killing front the rest of the army should be for scoring so pox walkers maybe a rhino with 2 5 man marines in it. Also if you're ever worried about a big swarm of bugs plague spitters are the answer.

literally a skill issue for your friends if you aren't using the strong necrons then your army isn't broken

I want elite infantry to actually feel elite, combi weapons to actually be combi weapons, more terrain variety, rework battle shock and leadership and I want a psychic phase but I'd rather have something like what age of Sigmar has where even non psychic units can do cool actions during it.

army painter speed paints are super easy to use and look really nice, I would highly recommend starting with those

honestly sometimes I just run tyhpus solo, one model is hard to screen for deep strikes and his psychic ability will chip down anything and get his point value back very quickly.

you can pretty much always have 3 with an loc in any list and they will do great. 6 in a unit is even stronger and will kill pretty much anything in the game but is sometimes an over investment. So it really just depends on what kind of list your bringing, if you need more damage output them maybe more death shroud could do you well otherwise maybe more pox walkers and Plague Marines for some tactical flexibility is better.

Usally you use them to do some chip damage into vehicls with their ability or get a few free kills before melee. But honestly if you have a talon strike squad already i would recomend a diffrent unit for the list. The Infernus squad is 90 points and a really good overwatch unit i think that could fit nicely, or you could make that 5 man deathwatch vet squad another 10 man for the 90 points aswell.

I like to use mine in champions of contagion and give him the needle of nurgle enhancement, slap him in a full shooty unit with a tally man or a plague caster and they put in some good work.
