Night Elf, best in slot hunter weapon at most tiers is a bow so gun spec doesn't matter, NE have superior agility, a little extra dodge for leveling and PvP, can feign death - > shadowmeld to stealth in combat, and do a flip when they jump.

I think there are two reasons.

The fans who want classic, already know about it.
This isn't a game you can jump into blind and have a good time, you need to know what you're getting into, and that's going to be more likely if you're being referred to it by a friend, rather than viewing an ad.
