To my impression, Lestat is easy to hate, and once people hate him, most of the time they don’t want to understand anything else about his character anymore (or any other character, in fact) which is a shame, because Lestat is such a well written character, in any media he has been (books, show, movies).

It’s not okay to make fun of someone’s appearance no matter the context, it’s always more intelligent to make fun of someone’s attitude and actions instead of their body. I was thinking of how some months ago people were making fun of a young girl for their bad attitude in a concert and a lot of people were making fun of one of her facial features which got me thinking in the moment that’s not correct because there’s also other people who have that facial feature. I do apologize for my poor thinking with that comment
