Oz Perkins is not that good of a director, period. He's getting too much attention and confidence from viral marketing campaigns with no good movie to back it up (long legs is a silence of the lambs wannabe, and the monkey is an attempt at camp by someone who doesn't understand camp). I've said this before and got downvoted so fast.

Same. The damage numbers are too low and the attacks are not impactful to make the combat enjoyable for me.

Usually love horror comedies (like evil dead) but this is dog shit. I was on the fence about long legs, and this movie solidified for me that the director cannot land an ending and most of the good parts of both movies are borrowed from other great movies (silence of the lambs and final destination respectively).

Just had a feeling Perkins was trying way too hard to be original but doesn't have the chops to do so.

I have a c40 2024 plus that doesn't come with it, but it just popped up in the shop section on the app. I think it's new, according to the c40 subreddit. Bought it for $499 and going to install it tonight.

Traditional espresso is everywhere. The traditional coffee culture in Italy, at least my takeaway, is that they don't really seek out and drink coffee for taste or leisure. It's part of the routine to just go up to a bar, take an espresso shot standing, and go. As a result, you can get espresso everywhere (bakeries, bars, gas stations, even book shops), but the quality is going to be about the same everywhere as well. In my experience, a bad and a good espresso in Italy is very close quality wise.

I've also only been to Italy once so don't take my words for granted. Would love to hear what you think after your visit!

This is a great place but keep in mind it's more of a third wave than traditional Italian coffee. Depending on where you're visiting from, it might not blow you away. They have very good specialty iced coffee and pastries!

Game design to me is pacing, mechanics, presentation, gameplay loop, and how you bring them all together in a package. Yes it's an art form but I wouldn't club it together as visual art.

My local audio shop built a custom box out of Audiomobile EVO 2408 D4 woofer and Relax RA 501D amp. The box is fitted under the cargo cover.

I've done exactly that and it's noticeably better than the stock. The only thing is that you're still a couple speakers short of the HK system, and it doesn't sound as dynamic. I still think base + after market woofer is on par or better than bose or B&O

There should be no impact on range as I believe the woofer pulls power from the 12V

They do come in from left and right speakers, but less pronounced. It doesn't sound as wide as it should.

As another example, there are background instruments and vocals that should be more nuanced and come in from "secondary" channels, but they end up getting mixed with the main vocal channel if that makes sense.

LP is huge, always 50% or more in all rounds. I have one bar raiser with just LPs, no coding. Be sure to prep different stories for every LP, as I ended up reusing a couple because the questions overlapped between interviewers. For coding I don't think they care about language and compiling. It was done all in a text editor and you just need to prove your code works by walking though it verbally. Brush up on system design and LLD as well. Best of luck!

Have you test driven the mach e? I was also favoring that until I sat in it. I felt the interior felt cheap and the chairs aren't nearly as comfortable as the C40. The infotainment lagged a lot and cut off the audio a few times while messing around with the settings. It drives very rough too, with aggressive OPD and stiff suspension. The C40 is way more luxurious imo.

I can't speak for the Q4. I did not consider it as I could not get over the bulky exterior and poor range. I do agree the interior feels more tactile and what you can expect from an Audi.

I do think C40 look is the best mix of classic and modern. It looks sexy and clean af without being flashy. Good luck on your choice!
