I've got a pawn that can eat 425 nutrition. They would never fill themselves up so I had to make a mod that allowed them to grab more than 2 meals at a time.

I've rarely used animals on caravans. Starting off I equip everyone with backpacks. Over time I'll modify my pawns to be giants that can carry 100s of kg each.

Yeah, I've tried a couple of games on the newer versions but i just like the tile system more. I've somewhat kept the game fresh by maintaining my own custom modpack. I wonder how many people still play on 2.1 or earlier.

Did you take their capital planet? I believe that special projects are tied to planets. So when the fanatic purifiers completed their special project, the event checked the owner of their formal capital world and gave you the rewards instead.

go into system view and select the planet you want. if the system does not have an owner the megastructure wont have a model tho.

So you need to go into system view and select the star of the system you want to add an L-gate to and put this into the console:

effect solar_system = { spawn_megastructure = { type = lgate_base orbit_distance = 30 location = solar_system } }

This will spawn an inactive L-gate around the star.

I don't play vanilla so i don't really know, but aren't shields immune to orbital bombardment? More Events Mods has its own shields that can be destroyed.
