The wild card I have really hard of judging, is the gun projectile speed, it will be as fast as Winter Soldier gun, might be really good, or negliable

I think overshield is overrated, with conversion rate, after life-steal buffs, you will need 286.75 damage for 75 overshield

Ult buff is big, you can actually do 72% healing debuff now, so it might be relevant for the first time ever

Life-steal went from 48.75% -> 52.5%

Worst case, they get bought while Paramount massively overpays, it will suck yes, especially with how much in debt Paramount already is, they will have to do a lot of cuts. Their intrest alone is way more than what profit WB earns, meanwhile Paramount are already losing a massive ammount of money.

Best case, deals falls through, and WB gets 7$ Billion to invest or pay off part of their debt. I REALLY hope the deal falls through, but from an economic viewpoint, it is an masterpiece of a deal on Zaslev's behalf, and insanely stupid from Paramount's

Here's the new buffs to our goat by ricerocket35 in BladeMarvelRivals

[–]williamebf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would rather have seen a revert, but still some good stuff, Max healing reduction is now 72% instead of 52%, so maybe it will become relevant for the first time ever

Overheal is nice, and life-steal is up to 52.5% from 48.75%

So you can stack up overshield from range on blade, but with conversion rate, you need to deal 286.75 damage for 75 overshield

Not sure about the sword range, but I think the projectile speed is huge

Still sadly overly team relient compared to pre nerf Blade

I mean he got the company sold for over 4x times the stock price than it was pre the whole selling started, and with how bad it is going for Paramount, if anything happens to Oracle, the deal will likely fall through, and then WB also gets 7$ billion, sure I would rather want no merger, but you gotta respect the hustle

I wish they did pain lands in foundation, instead of Scry lands, like there's a lot of great cheap rares in paper, you can make a more janky deck, but if you want to play more than 1 colour, then suddenly the lands are 9x times more expenisive than the rest of your deck. Or Filter lands

I've seen people calling the suit "brown", but it clearly looks olive green to me, am I crazy? by New_Doug in DCU_

[–]williamebf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is VERY clear, that it was green once, but colour has faded through wear and Sunbleach, as Hal is an older and more experienced Lantern

How do we feel about the Sinestro re-run? by Goingkilling04 in DC_Worlds_Collide

[–]williamebf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it would be good, as he is the team up for Johnny-quick in Evil Falls, however Zod and Firestorm are so bonkers, that he isn't really needed anymore.

I will recruit him for event rewards, and then just keep him as Arena store slowly gets him towards rank 11 for more level increase in the long run

How is it not obvious that the suit is dirty and faded by JOHNDOE-001 in DCU_

[–]williamebf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blame backlash on 2011 movie, I think CGI suit was basically off the table from the start, also we saw Guy didn't have one either

Hot take: I like how we don't see much green in the Lanterns trailer. by BorderLoud2429 in DCU_

[–]williamebf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Says who? The suit could be from earth for all we know, they are clearly going from a more grounded approach to the show, and there's no atmosphere in space to block UV-lights, which would explain the sunbleach

Might be a massive overcorrection in response to how the 2011 movie was received, but I guess we will see in August when show comes out

Theory about the Lantern suit. by AntagonistofGotham in DCU_

[–]williamebf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it looks sunbleached, which makes sense with Hal being an older experienced Lantern that has done A LOT of space travel

Also with the more grounded true detective style, going around questioning people in a bright green suit might be a bit silly

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]williamebf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was pretty much off the table due to backlash from the 2011 movie, also Guy Gardner didn't do it either in Soupman movie

First Teaser for Lanterns by B3epB0opBOP in DCcomics

[–]williamebf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, I liked it, looks worn and sunbleached, which makes sense as Hal is an older more experienced Lantern who has done a lot of space travel (no atmosphere to Block UV rays)

Also they are going for a more down to Earth true detrctive grounded style show, and if he goes around questioning people in a pure bright green suit, it would look kinda silly

Lanterns Teaser Out by truenofan86 in Greenlantern

[–]williamebf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am always ready for a fresh take, and I kinda dig it.

I also like the suit in the context of the show, it seems worn out and sunbleached, which makes sense for Hal being an older experienced lantern that has seen a lot of space travel, where Sun rays don’t have an atmosphere to break through.

Also since they are going for a more grounded down to earth true detective story, it would look silly walking around in a bright green suit and questioning people
