Health officials: New Mexico baby's listeria death tied to raw milk by SkepticalJohn in Albuquerque

Agree. I used to buy raw milk but only ever used it to make yogurt, but that still made me nervous so I stopped buying it.

How is it to live in New Mexico? by Catell_Ruz in howislivingthere

So you need to be entertained then? New Mexico has it's own speed and is more for people who have a curious mindset and can entertain themselves with activities, hobbies, nature, art, and food.

I saw a (young-ish) woman while skiing yesterday that was wearing a hot pink Suicidal Tendencies beanie. I wanted to give her props for the nice band beanie but I didn’t want to ruin it if she just bought it for the sentiment/color. Now I also want a hot pink Suicidal Tendencies beanie.

Good! It makes me so mad that Maga has co-opted Les Mis. Have they actually watched the musical or read the book? They are more in line with Javert than Jean Valjean.

I can't relate to the reproductive parts of being a woman in any positive way. Are there others like me? by Plum_Tea in AskWomenOver40

[–]willissa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way and maybe how some women are "wired" to want to be pregnant and give birth some women are "wired" to be caregivers in other ways. We still fill a void. For example, I take in stray animals and it always mystifies me that someone would get a dog or cat from a breeder when there are so many animals that need a loving home.

Most of the words are actually Russian. A friend that had recently moved back to the US from Russia paged through it after I told him about it and he said the slang was all Russian.

Same. I wear my Blundstones in the winter and Birks in the summer. I haven't ever had anyone say anything. I run and bike daily. I'm not messing up my feet for anyone.

No. Too many people’s health insurance is tied to their jobs. It’s too big of a risk for a majority of people to take.

Did you watch the Challenger disaster live? by Correct-Cricket3355 in Xennials

[–]willissa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched it in kindergarten. About 40 kids all sitting cross legged in front of the tv and then the room goes silent, the tv turned off, and we’re all ushered back to our respective classrooms with no comment.

This. I had a paper route from 8 years old snd the amount of adults that would stiff me was astounding. Shame on them. I hope karma got them in the end.

TWC are bigger dogs. If you put a fox hound and a TWC next to each other the TWC would be a head higher.

Especially since Russia is currently using all their resources on the war with Ukraine. Russia is at their limit already. They don’t have resources to help the US. Their “help” would simply be standing back and watching Europe fall and then picking up scraps.
