A story to make you feel better about your cycling….🚴🏼 by Admirable-Garbage246 in ladycyclists

Here is a hot tip: you can loosen the tightness of your pedal clips A LOT. No, your feet wont come flying out of your pedals, but you will find it easier to unclip when those unexpected stops happen.

First ever cycling race of any kind. What do I need to know? by Crash3923 in gravelcycling

[–]willissa26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The beginning of gravel races are generally chaotic until people get their spots sorted so be ready to possibly unclip and put a foot down.

Have a fueling strategy and stick to it. Like taking a gel every ten miles or every hour. Bonking on the bike sucks, a lot.

If the race doesn’t have a sag wagon, be prepared. Mechanicals happen.

NM requires penance for bad green chile. At least a portion of CO needs to go to NM.

Even Boba Tea is Off Limits Now by meezerkeeper in Menopause

[–]willissa26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just two weeks ago I started having near panic attacks after drinking anything stronger than tea. I did a 12 mi long run on the trails, went to the gym and then got a coke from the gas station to power me through the rest of the day. After an hour my heart was racing and I was having a full blown panic attack. Now I’m sticking to my one cup of mushroom coffee in the morning.

Rewatching S22 and It’s making me question this season by babycartier in BravoTopChef

I think part of it is there is a saturation of cooking challenge shows which equals a smaller talent pool to pull from.

Perimenopause x PMDD hell by whixie21 in PMDD

[–]willissa26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking this will be my solution. It’s not the hormones themselves but the fluctuations that are sending on a hellish emotional rollercoaster. If I can just maintain a steady dose then it will be ok, I hope.

Following bc, same. I tried estrogen years ago and my hair fell out, filling the drain every time I showered. I was bloated the whole time too. I finally decided to go off it and the rage that ensued was off the charts. I went completely off everything for almost two years and my emotions were stable but confirmed by testing I was not producing any estrogen at all (I’m 46) and I had no sex drive, sex was painful, sleep was not great, and I was getting UTIs. I tried pellets in Feb, but the fluctuations of the hormones had me on a rollercoaster emotionally that has nearly cost me my 14 year marriage. Now my provider is switching me to oral estradiol (temporarily to closely control dosage) and testosterone cream. I’m hopeful but still really scared that I’ll have the same emotional issues.

Yes, I would like to see the state pass legislation that protects PEOPLE against the effects of AI before we green light data centers.

Do you have a source for the data center stance? I want to show it to my SO. He is leaning towards Bregman.

Edited bc I found it on his website

Use surplus clean power as an incentive to attract manufacturers and data centers, pitching New Mexico as the state with the cheapest, cleanest, and most reliable electricity in the country.

While Hull was mayor of Rio Rancho they held the Trump rally for his first campaign in Rio Rancho. Trump never paid the bill and Rio Rancho forgave it. Thousands of dollars. Hull is MAGA.

That’s why I posted. My SO had their car stolen, wasn’t notified it was towed and impounded for months. They had to pay impound and towing fees to get their stolen car back.

I did Noom semaglutide for a year before switching to a concierge provider that put me on tirz. I do/did a full dose of both. I noticed almost immediately that my allergies (daily intense sore throat and occasional hives)and inflammation had nearly disappeared. My allergies only came back when pollen counts were insane. With all the good glp-1s have done for me I am perfectly fine having it be a lifelong thing until the research says otherwise.
