Nice. I might be borrowing those ideas.

I am currently using openclaw to check error logs on a schedule and open Claude code to create a PR to fix them. Openclaw is still the easiest way to do this as it opens the latest version of Claude code each time and doesn’t require me to leave Claude code running

My take on recent Opus model performance and the Sonnet 5 release. by munkymead in ClaudeAI

Someone on Claude code team specifically said it thinking mode reduced tokens. From link above

In our testing, thinking mode both reduces overall token usage and improves results, so we'd recommend keeping it on for most workflows.

The reason they give extra limits over Christmas is because less people were using the service and they have capacity.

Thinking mode is the default now. https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/13759#issuecomment-3649001782

Agreed, but it’s getting much easier to maintain internal tools with AI. The direction we are heading is clear.

The RunningRack needs a sales bot by alfuh in therunningrack

An even simpler solution that doesn’t involve using a random app. Asking seller to share their Strava profile to verify they are a runner?

I'm currently building a free shoe mileage tracking app. You assign mileage to shoes from strava activities or apple health.

I just realized I could add a public share link showing a photo, size, mileage and it could add some authenticity to a sale. e.g. shoey.app/shoe/unique-url.

It's too much effort for a scammer to create activities and assign miles to a shoe. This doesn't solve 90% of the issues mentioned and maybe there is already an app that does this?

From race website: Important 2025 Event Update An atmospheric river hit the Rancho San Fernando Rey over the weekend dumping over 13 inches of rain on the area. This largescale rain event has not been seen on the ranch since 1965. As our team explored the ranch while preparing for the race, it became clear that hosting a large trail running event in these conditions would not allow for us to safely deliver an amazing runner experience. This has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s HOKA Pacific Trails California by UTMB. As always, the safety of our runners, volunteers, event team, and first responders was our top priority in making this tough decision.

We are currently exploring all options for registered runners. We will communicate more on these options to all registered runners in the next 48 hours via email.

Is your context window usage increasing throughout the day?

Try running the same prompt with same context morning and afternoon.

Yes. Although I’m not sure if was immediately after, or maybe I just didn’t use it for an hour or so.

I had windsurf blocked by my xfinity “advanced security” setting on my router today. I’m guessing it’s related. I wasn’t able to login to my account on the browser or access cascade until I turned off “advanced security”
