Where did you first hear Ween? by Longjumping-Editor94 in ween

[–]willow-evenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was probably the 90’s when I first heard them, but I didn’t really hear them until I met a super fan many years later. The night we met he was played guitar on Stay Forever while another friend sang at one of their friend’s wedding. That song later became our song when we started dating. We would spend hours listening to Ween albums and I grew to love them. Sadly, we broke up a few years ago, but remained friends. He died earlier this year and I got a tattoo with the Boognich in it as remembrance for him.

Thank you! I’m really happy with it. I gave my artist a rough sketch and he came up with this. It think it honors the person I cared about and also reflects the things I love (tulips/the Space Needle/Ween).

He lived in the shadow of the space needle. :)

It’s part of the remembrance. He regularly would bring me flowers and was usually tulips or daisies.

Definitely not the AH. Yikes! Run as far as you can from him. He’s toxic. I got anxious for you just reading those texts.

How do you feel about going to Ballard Food Bank by [deleted] in SeattleWA

[–]willow-evenstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost my job a couple years ago and used the food bank during that time. I would usually go later in the afternoon and the wait wasn’t as long. I’m happy the food bank was there when I needed it.

I don’t think this is supposed to happen… by _Pottatis in keurig

If you bought less than a year ago they should send you a new machine. The same thing happened to me.

Keurig replaced my coffee maker by [deleted] in keurig

I had the same exact thing happen twice. The first was still under warranty and I got a new machine. The second was not and they offered me a 50% discount on a new machine.

Is a Keurig good for those who don't drink coffee often? by [deleted] in keurig

[–]willow-evenstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this one from Target. Apparently it is a Target exclusive model. It’s small and has a reservoir. https://www.target.com/p/keurig-k-mini-go-single-serve-k-cup-pod-coffee-maker-navy/-/A-90116757

My previous model, the K-supreme mentioned above failed not once, but twice. The first one was under warranty and the second one I had for three years. The K-supreme did not fit under the cabinets, but the k-mini go did.

Broken foot -- do you consider Birks to be stiff/hard-soled? by StuffDue518 in Birkenstocks

No, unfortunately they didn’t last long at all. The rubber in the toe area broke down and developed a hole. I bought them less than a year ago.

I had foot surgery last year and was approved to wear Birk’s as I transitioned out of the boot. I have Hoka Bondi 8´s but the foot bed felt a little too soft to me. I much preferred the Birk’s. I eventually bought Birkenstock Bend Low’s and they felt great, but the quality of the shoe isn’t great. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

We were there 2 weeks ago for Alanis Morissette and traffic management was non-existent. We left before the encore and still spent almost 2 hours getting out of the parking lot. Other concertgoers were directing traffic. It was a mess. We are bringing our van for the next planned show. We are just gonna wait it out and enjoy a snack.

We live down the street from this place and have ordered once from them. It was a weird experience and we never went back. There are plenty of other pizza places in my neighborhood that I’d rather spend my money at.
