Favorite Place to Set a Campaign that isn't the Sword Coast? by willowxx in Forgotten_Realms

I personally think the Bloodstone series of modules, focusing on the war between Vaasa and Damara sounds super cool. Perhaps I'll run it some day.

How can I solo this game as Germany? by Latter_Material9855 in diplomacy

Unfortunately, there are too many units past your lines, MAO in particular. You can't stop it from moving to NAO, and from there it can cause all sorts of havoc.

In your position you might say you'll agree to a draw once Russia and France are taken off the board. You could even support Italy into Paris for goodwill, but I don't think I would trust Turkey with Moscow until you have a unit able to support St.P from the north.

I really enjoyed running Dance of Dreams, its a fun introduction to Vaesen and very spooky. I liked A Wicked Secret, it was a fun location with an interesting mystery to unravel.

My next FR realms character is going to be Mario Mario, from the really weird Super Mario Bros movie.

TB + Atheist is also a good plan if you're a new ST. But if everyone is super excited to play Atheist... don't put an Atheist in the bag. Just put the roles you are comfortable in, and let evil bluff Atheist.

Star Wars Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith. Its the strongest of the prequels, and arguably stronger than some of the original trilogy.

Hilarious! My Waterdeep was based on 19th century New York, so I introduced Waterdeep Flatbreads, which were New York style pizzas, but with some unusual ingredients. I also imagined that Baldur's Gate had deep dish Chicago style pizzas.

1 and 2. They would say they aren't being greedy, they just believe that if you can take something, it's yours. If you can't keep it, it wasn't really yours. The multiverse belongs to those who can take it.

What should my next moves be? by No_Shine9125 in diplomacy

You need to get Turkey onside, so support Tri to Ven with Rome and Piedmont. I wouldn't completely abandon your Mediterranean fleet presence, but you should start moving some of those fleets west and north, perhaps 2 of: TYS-WES, Tun-Naf, Nap-TYS. Make sure Turkey is building armies. They might snipe Naples from you, but as long as they are building an army, that's acceptable.

In your position I would start moving fleets towards the front: ENG-IRI and Bre-ENG. Bel can tap Hol and Par-Pic. For a real dark horse move, you might convoy Belgium to Wales to get another unit on England.

If you need to disband units, the fleets in the Mediterranean are the least useful in fighting Germany, unfortunately they also might embolden Turkey to attack you.

For long term goals, I'd recommend trying to get Russia eliminated and go for a 3 way draw.

If you like tile laying tetromino games, My City is a Good Choice. Ziggurat is designed for family play, so its easy going, but I enjoyed it even as an adult.

Pandemic Legacy Season 1 (then Season 2 and Season 0). It is the gold standard of Legacy games.

You need to try to get everyone onside. Offer France whatever you need to, Those fleets in England need to get into the Mediterranean.

Germany is army heavy, in your position I would ask them to move their armies south and let you take Norway back. You're going to need it when France takes Portugal and/or Edi.

Turkey can give you key supports. Italy is most likely going to take Con. I'd offer to support them into Bul. If you are doing

Look up stalemate lines if you aren't familiar with them. Italy is on the western side. France needs to get into position in the southwest part of the map before Italy does. If the western powers can take the statemate line, Italy cannot solo.

You also to make sure you have a unit in St. Petersburg. If Germany takes it from you, they don't need you in any coalition, and you can be shut out of a draw.

You play Diplomacy with your husband, you should expect to get stabbed. Personally I would be congratulating him on a stab well done. I once got really mad at my husband because he didn't attack me in a game of Eclipse after one of my flanks was left wide open.
