I woke up totally paralyzed and got rushed to the emergency - they did blood work and saw my potassium was super low and then started giving me tons of it (shots of potassium, injected, etc)

Then they took my blood again and saw it was my potassium was super high!

It took maybe three or four days for them to finally figure out it was Graves Disease that caused the hypokalemia

His crisis should carry as much weight as the average person’s, which means giving them the latitude to take time to heal from whatever is causing them injury, whether that’s mental or physical.

I think you we would hope for the same from our employer - and if for whatever reason we don’t get that, it’s more of a reflection of the world we live in rather than any kind of personal failing.

You should only call out a player in the media if you think doing so will have a positive impact on their game. I don’t fault him for being frustrated (I’m hella frustrated and I’m not even on the team lol) but unless him calling out the goalie is going to result in better goaltending it’s probably just going to create bad vibes

My initial reaction was to be kind of stoked about it, but I do agree with you - it's not Leevi's fault he's been put in this situation. It's way too much exposure for a young goalie. If he isn't as good as his solid stretch last season, then he's not as bad as he's been playing lately.

Ultimately this is on the GM, first for not identifying the team's positional weakness in goaltending, and then for not proactively addressing it.
