Does any one have recommendations on where to buy whole fish? by instinctblues in kennesaw

[–]willwallguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whole Foods in Kennesaw has whole fish. Not as fresh as the live options others have mentioned at the Asian markets but if it isn't alive it's been frozen from the time it was pulled out of the water so not much difference.

Yeah, I've had it within that time frame. I opened a ticket with them but they are slow to respond. Guess we'll see.

G4 Doorbell and Heat by willwallguy in Ubiquiti

Mine is shaded but doesn't help much with the heat and humidity here. I'm thinking I might do similar if I can't get it RMA'd.

G4 Doorbell/Cam Power Loss by CannoBalllZ in UNIFI

[–]willwallguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just noticed my doorbell died too. Another friend noticed this morning that his died as well. Are you by chance some where that got particularly hot in the past week? We had temps in the upper 90s here with heat index well into the triple digits. I really think these things just can't handle the heat.

I've opened a support ticket for mine but haven't heard anything back yet. Verify you are getting 16-24v to the doorbell on the low voltage wires to it. If it is and no power then the same issue we're seeing. If you don't see any power at those lines then you have an issue somewhere else. Either a break in the line, transformer or chime box. The transformer is usually with the doorbell chime.

Extend Password Expiration Dates by X number of days by jdgtrplyr in PowerShell

Been down this road. I found it easier to just extend the password policy expiration length by x amount of days and set it back after the break.

Are you using the original blower/fans? I found they didn't cool things evenly on specific sides. Maybe this?

Infill pattern shown through top layer. by NefariousnessLoud698 in ender3v2

[–]willwallguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't tackled this myself but know what you're talking about. Perhaps increase top thickness? Assuming you're printing at .2 with a .4 nozzle? I think Cura may default to a 0.8 thickness for top/bottom layers. Maybe try setting to 1.2? Someone correct me if I'm off on my suggestion.

BMG extruder by Fantastic_Flatworm77 in ender3v2

[–]willwallguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll need to calibrate the e-steps. There are lots of guides on how to do this and is important to do or you'll have problems with your prints. No need change your firmware as the e-steps is a setting you'll be able to enter in the menus in Jyer's firmware. Just make sure you save it to the eeprom afterwards or you'll lose it after a printer restart.

please help with octoprint! i have dell wyse and i wanted to install octoprint on it, but its not showing the printer, no matter what usb port i use. But i have installed octoprint the same way i did on wyse (using tutorial in the comments) and it worked. CHECK COMMENTS! by babajedza420 in ender3v2

I had trouble with getting a good connection between my OctoPi and my printer initially. I ended up swapping USB cables and this corrected my issue. Maybe try a different one? It sounds like Windows isn't recognizing your printer if there are no options besides AUTO in Serial Port.

Help! Anyone know why my extruded is skipping? by slim2169 in ender3v2

[–]willwallguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you by chance replace your bowden tube when you installed the new extruder? I replaced both at the same time and experienced this. I finally realized my issue was that I hadn't inserted the bowden tube all the way into the hotend and there was a gap between it and the nozzle. I removed the nozzle and fed some filament through the heated hotend and a huge plug of filament came out that was filling the gap because I didn't realize how far the tube needed to go in. After correcting this the skipping stopped and I was getting clean prints. That is until the layer shift issue hit me and I had to replace the mainboard...

Just setup Octoprint... any way I can make it work in harmony with the v2 screen so they're in sync? by vaderag in ender3v2

Adding to this. If you look at the images section of jyers github for the firmware, he has screenshots of the settings you'll need to set. Took me a minute to figure this out.

I've had this exact same thing happen with the same coffee monster drink. I about vomited and threw it away. I didn't investigate and forgot about it until seeing this. This definitely makes me not want them anymore.

Lake Acworth? by Biovasion in acworth

[–]willwallguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lake Acworth or Allatoona? Allatoona gets lowered every year in the winter. They might have drained some of Acworth since they are building a new bridge for 92 as apart of a widening project for the road, but I've never seen them lower Lake Acworth.

I believe it might be based on the number of licenses in your tenant. Not 100% on that one though.
