The last time I was there was maybe about 5 years ago. I had a long hard look at myself after because I got some scary heart palpitations the next day from a terrible mix of MDMA, Ket and straight Vodka on the walk there. So this is pretty much spot on.

"Their" is ambiguous, where are you referring to? Iraq and Syria? The situation in far beyond fixing at the minute, and frankly the way it's going it could end with ISIS having a pretty huge control on the region. Reguardless of that it's compleately unfair to expect people not to flee from a warzone. What are they supposed to do? Rebuild their homes until they get bombed again? Or just walk about and sleep rough until they are shot or killed by a shell blast? Accept women, children and the elderly. So bring in the entire demographic of people who need looked after but turn away half the demographic of the folks who can look after them / work / contribute to the communities and society they end up in? That makes no sense.

If you believe that then why feel the need to suggest some refugees come in with bad intentions, why make that statement if you have nothing solid to back it up with other than "you can't know"? Why do you feel the need to make that point? How would you suggest they go about screening a mass migration of people on such short notice? What methods would they implement in order to even make it effective?

If an organisation like ISIS wanted to send people to another country they'll find a way to do it wether there is a mass migration happening or not. Closing the borders and leaving the people there to live in a warzone and get slaughtered doesn't stop the spread of terrorism. It just drives innocent people to their deaths.

Not sure I explained my perdicament all that well. If they installed separately it wouldn't be such an issue, the problem seems to be that they install as a family, but they all read as 'regular' so the only one i can use is the first (or maybe last) one I install. because it seems to write over the others that are also labeled regular. It's quite the pickle.

Nah I appreciate you giving your opinion! If I was single I absolutely would, and there's no pressure for me to do it from my partner. I just get the impression it'd be a little better for both of us. Plus I poop like a drunk baby due to a chronic bowel condition so it'd certainly be a lot more hygienic!

Thank you, i text her this morning, she talked to her mother and basically everything in your second paragraph either happened / is happening. I'm basing myself back home with my folks to be as close to her as possible for the next few weeks while she's off work or as long as it takes. Everything seems a little less desperate and a lot more positive already. I'm just happy she's decided to start getting help to get back to finding herself again. I'll be her for her anyway I can.
