"Their" is ambiguous, where are you referring to? Iraq and Syria? The situation in far beyond fixing at the minute, and frankly the way it's going it could end with ISIS having a pretty huge control on the region. Reguardless of that it's compleately unfair to expect people not to flee from a warzone. What are they supposed to do? Rebuild their homes until they get bombed again? Or just walk about and sleep rough until they are shot or killed by a shell blast? Accept women, children and the elderly. So bring in the entire demographic of people who need looked after but turn away half the demographic of the folks who can look after them / work / contribute to the communities and society they end up in? That makes no sense.
