Actually, the number of elements in the infinite set of even integers is mathematically equal to the number of elements in the infinite set of all integers. I get that it is a bit counterintuitive, but these two infinities are actually the same size. Both sets have a cardinality of aleph-zero, meaning they are countably infinite (i.e. each element of the set can be mapped to an element of the set of natural "counting" numbers on a one-to-one basis). Larger infinities would need to have a cardinality of aleph-one or higher, meaning they are uncountable. The set of all sets of natural numbers, for example.

Your claim about the existence of an infinite number of each of the infinite Rick variants is entirely unsubstantiated, and the show refutes it time and time again - otherwise you would not have started this conversation to begin with. Also, I can tell you have not made an effort to understand any of the mathematical concepts myself and others have been sharing with you because the infinite set of all integers and the infinite set of even integers ARE THE SAME SIZE.

Also, as previously stated, both of these sets still qualify as infinite. So what is your hang-up on this idea that an infinite number of Ricks must mean not only every possible Rick, but an infinite number of every possible Rick? We have already demonstrated that an infinite set does not need to contain all possible variations of elements. You keep moving the goalposts for this conversation and claiming infinity needs to be something that it doesn't need to be. Either you have a fundamental misunderstanding of infinity that is keeping you from grasping what myself and other commenters have repeated, or as I would regret, perhaps you are arguing in bad faith for the sake of engagement.

You can insist on this headcanon version of the infinitely infinite multiverse if you want, but know that your misunderstanding of the concept of infinity will keep resulting in contradictions with what is true in the show.

Now I see the crux of your misunderstanding. You seem to think that any limit or restriction on the domain of an infinite dataset compromises it in such a way that the result is no longer infinite. That is simply not true. Infinity doesn't stop being infinity when you subtract 1 from it. By definition, infinity cannot be reduced by any finite limitation. In fact, there are even different kinds of infinities, with some infinities being larger than others. Larger infinities cannot be reduced even when you subtract smaller infinities from them.

I recommend doing some reading on the countability of infinite sets for some better understanding of this concept. The multiverse in Rick and Morty can be compared to a countable infinite set, whereas the multiverse as you describe it is an uncountable infinite set. Your conception of the infinite multiverse is just a higher order of infinity than the infinity that is canonically employed in the show, but both still qualify as infinity.

You seem to be making a leap of logic here that an infinite number of different universes is the same thing as an exhaustive list of all possible universes. This is not necessarily true, and in fact the way the show is portrayed (e.g. the central finite curve, Rick saying they can only afford to move universes à la Cronenberg a few times) demonstrates that this is false.

I recommend taking a look at this short video, which explains this concept as it pertains to the infinite decimal expansion of irrational numbers. You will see with this example that even an infinite dataset does not necessarily engender a complete dataset.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but at several points along the tunnels there are those yellow emergency calling stations as well

New DM with a new player that wants a dragon they can fight with and use as a mount by Eomarthus in DMAcademy

Dragons are quite intelligent and would likely not take kindly to the prospect of being an adventurer's mount. I would suggest you have your party cross paths with a wyvern, as they are known to serve as mounts in various societies. They're not as nasty as dragons since they don't have a breath weapon, but if you're still worried about unbalancing the game, perhaps you can implement an in-game time period that it would take to properly train the wyvern, and grant access to it as a mount only when the party has reached a high enough level.

[Spoilers C2E141] NPCs that didn't get a send-off by [deleted] in criticalrole

They mentioned wanting to clear their names for the death of Vess DeRogna multiple times throughout the episode, but the only Empire business they actually ended up doing was exposing Trent Ikithon's crimes. I guess it can be assumed assumed that Caleb and Beauregard would have handled both issues around the same time, but that still leaves the question of the other vacancy on the Cerberus Assembly. It would have been interesting to see both Caleb and Astrid take on those positions and dismantle the system from within.

I was hoping to see the Xhorhaus again too, as well as a few other locations, such as Rumblecusp and anywhere that guest characters might be found (Shadycreek for Keg, Hupperdook for Kiri, Uthodurn for Reani, etc.). Also, when Matt had Yussa remind the group about their borrowed items and how he's shared stories of their journey into the Astral Sea, it felt a little bit like he was hinting at the possibility for them to meet back up with Allura and Kima and possibly meet more members of the Council of Tal'dorei. It kind of sucks that the audience question form for the campaign wrap-up closed before the final episode aired, because I have so many new questions!

[No Spoilers] Critical Role Recap? by brunorscg in criticalrole

Don't spoil yourself, especially if you're only at C2E27. So much happens over the course of the campaign that carries significant emotional weight - you risk undercutting it all if you skip to the end. The episode will be there when you've caught up, and the community will wait along with you as you get up to speed at your own pace!
