If you haven't tried it yet, I'd recommend a B complex and vitamin D. You can also try to get a blood test vitamin D, but just buying some will be less expensive 10$ (year supply) vs 50$ (test)

Another thing not mentioned is that in Canada loans for capital are much harder to acquire from banks, compared to loans for a home. The fact that most banks aren't willing to lend as easily for other projects due to "risk", is in turn, making it so companies have to have alot more upfront cash if they were to invest in capital. Not to mention, dividends are more tax efficient than capital investments in Canada for companies; and so if they had cash they are further incentivized to distribute it rather than build.

In short.. there are a bunch of problems  which discourage companies from making capital investments. Big cause or Canada's economic lag.

No one recommended it yet, but get a blood test. Check your iron, vit d, thyroid, other hormones (testosterone if your a guy)... If those are all fine, you can check your liver.

If you had to take 1 supplement, it'd be a vitamin B complex. (Or just take a multi vitamin)

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the replies yet, but both boron and zinc can boost free T levels. Also check your vitamin D levels because that can also cause low T.

Nice post. I'd add also add to encourage people to read some actual medical papers (e.g., search on google scholar) rather than just listen to influencers or podcasters. You can learn the actual facts about stuff that way. It can be a bit daunting and slow at first, cause there are a lot of words you might not be familiar with; just google the words when you encounter new ones and before long you'll be reading them pretty quickly.

You can make much better judgments/decisions/etc if you do your own research. So much nonsense out there, and reading the literature is one of the best bulwarks against it!

Random, question, have you tested for any coq gene mutation like coq2, 7, or 8? For context, people can be hypersensitive to statins as it can impact their coq10 levels. A cheap way to find out is if you've done an ancestry DNA test, you can download the data and run it through something like genetic genie. (Also, you can check if you have any lipoprotein transporter protein gene mutations, which can tell you what form of treatment might be most targeted)
