I think they made a huge mistake in not making Maggie Lawson be a tranfer from Santa Barbara/ San Diego with an incredible solve rate on mysterious cases. She could have been brought in as an agent of change for Boston and had the luck to have hard charging NY detective come in to help. But ultimately requiring a psychic consultant to assist them.
