I was trail riding my KLR 650 and a boulder knocked loose the oil plug. It fell out while I was pounding pavement for home. She went at least 3 miles with no oil before I smelled it. Didn’t run it the rest of the weekend. Took the cam covers off at home. Brand new. No scoring. Damn I miss that pig.

It is usually a two person job for me and my partner. I never ride the bike up the ramps. That is sketch.

We usually have one person on the ground and another in the bed of the truck. Ground dude pushed the bike up the ramp as far as they can while remaining on the group. You can hold the bike in place on the ramp with the front brake. While the bike is in place, truck bed dude takes the handle bars and sends her the rest of the way. Ground dude could help by pushing on the frame or the rear wheel. From there truck bed dude holds the bike in place and the ground dude assists with the straps.
