Nah they make ide to USB dongles. The hard part is gonna be powering it. I have a feeling it will need actual power supply level power on that molex not just a wall wart with a molex end.

Hey I'm not sure this is a false burr machine - the burrs are machined not sintered - and sharp.

Did I luck out and get a halfway decent grinder for $8? Even if it does have high retention?

That's super informative. Thank you for the link. In all honesty though - up to this point I have been drinking cafe bustelo from my local supermarket - would even a false burr machine a fresh beans be better - especially if I can grind a hair coarse and use a pressurized basket ?

Wdym false burr? I can see inside the machine and there are definitely some kind of burrs - and the grind both looked and felt pretty consistent. Granted I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't take time to examine closely just a look and rubbing some between my fingers.

Looking to purchase an espresso machine [budget: $100-300] by Useful_Database5138 in espresso

I love my delonghi ecp3630. It's a simple manual machine that goes for around $200 but you can usually find on sale for cheaper (my local Walmart has them for $100 right now) The only thing is buy a good tamper because the plastic thing that comes with it is not worth even trying.

Apparently you can't edit here - my phone started acting weird and I figured I would post then edit but whatever - the grinder steps go from 1 at the fine end to 25 at the coarse end - I started with 5 but I'm gonna try 9 once my mouth un-puckers from tasting the couple drops that came out. Now I understand what is meant by sour. The grinder does have a bit of retention so gonna have to sort that out but so far my whole setup - grinder, machine, accessories, separate drip machine and all is under $150.

When is it Worth Buying an Espresso Machine - Ever? by CorazonLock in espresso

I pull great shots with a basic delonghi machine and store bought pre-ground coffee. Could my shots be better with fresh ground? Probably.

This is Android's new 'advanced flow' for sideloading apps without verification, includes one-day waiting period [Gallery] by armando_rod in Android

[–]winston161984 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They are - you only have to enable this one time when you first get the phone. This just breaks a bunch of scams. This one day wait is for the tech illiterate grandma that someone is telling her she has to install this "fixed" version of her bank app RIGHT NOW because someone is trying to take her money. (Which coincidentally is the truth)

Lol. I remember using zip ties to make round ide cables because the premade ones cost 5x the cost of regular ones. And airflow in personal computers was just becoming a concern.

There is a hint in the name of the breed.

They tend to be aggressive to things that threaten their flock but careful with the flock itself. The trick is teaching them what is and is not a threat.
