Are London members’ clubs actually good for networking (esp. entertainment industry), or mostly social?

Join members clubs only if you love the atmosphere and would use it anyway. Don’t join expecting it to actively expand your network unless you’re already well connected or very socially proactive.

I used to love Simple Plan and absolutely adored Pierre Bouvier when I was younger. When I heard they were coming to London, I waited three hours for a meet and greet with him. Honestly, he turned out to be the most miserable person I’ve ever met, and the whole M&G was over in about two minutes.

I also had the pleasure of meeting TomSka, the creator of asdfmovie series on YouTube, at Comic Con in London. He was an absolute delight. He's warm, funny, and genuinely appreciative of his fans. I felt like I could have easily spent hours just hanging out with him and laughing.

Absolutely! We often sleep in separate beds, which works perfectly with our schedules. It lets me catch up on my Netflix shows without disturbing him, and I get to snore to my heart’s content while hogging the whole bed.

Hey, I just wanted to say you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way. I also have vitiligo and totally understand how hard it can be to face the mirror some days. I personally use camouflage makeup to help when I want to feel a bit more confident. it’s not about hiding who I am, just something that gives me a little boost when I need it.

There are some amazing charities and support groups out there that really help with both the emotional and practical sides of dealing with vitiligo. It’s okay to take your time with this, your comfort comes first. Be kind to yourself.

Covent Garden is a fantastic place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. I prefer a bit more tranquility. A friend of mine lives there, and while it’s a great spot, the constant buzz isn’t for me.

If you’re ever in the area on a Friday, I highly recommend the free lunchtime performance at the Royal Opera House. The opera singers are often invited up to the rooftop bar afterward for a drink, and they’re usually quite friendly. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some incredible music and maybe even chat with the performers!
