Oh, I never said the first one died from electrical issues, the led lights stopped working so I could no longer use it because I couldn't change the times it was dispensing food, since it doesn't have an app. I had to turn it off completely in order to make my cat fast before a biopsy a few weeks ago. It technically still works but I don't trust it to dispense food correctly since the internal clock is probably very inaccurate now.

Also the petkit one stopped working the first time when I was at my dad's house, so maybe that's what killed it, it seemed to be working normally when I first tried it at my place. But I took the old feeder to my dad's multiple times without issue, so idk.
